(A/N this is the finale of this wonderful tribute! I just want to say that I am proud to write these crappy electronic bytes of literature for about 2 people to read! I'm happy so many of you have read and I hope to update more and more often! Now onwards!)
A harsh cold winter wind caught a Vantas in its strong grasp. Remaining emotionless, Kankri stood still, avoiding the act of accidentally triggering the crazed spur of the moment weather. He only wore his usual red sweater, black slacks, and a pair of slightly worn dress shoes. He soon broke the weather's grip and continued walking to his hive. Meanwhile, a some weirdo with a greaser obsession was creating a devious plan to get yet one more quadrant filled. But, it wasn't just for the feeling of full quadrants, the seadweller recently realised that he had some red thoughts about the certain celibate.
Soon, Kankri was just seconds away when he entered the key into the lock of his hive. Only to have the key break. In order to keep his cool, he quickly laid down.
"Hey, Kan. Wvhatcha doin?"
"Please use my first name, Cronus. Your lack of formality is quite triggering. And for your information, I assumed by laying in the snow that has gathered upon my porch would help cool these angry thoughts."
"I understand nowv." Cronus said as he laid down just inches from Kankri.
"Pardon my asking, but are you angry as well?" Kankri asked curiously with caution.
"No not angry," Cronus started. "More along the lines of red."
"R-red?"
"Mhm." Cronus said as Kankri's heartbeat quickened a great deal.
"Well, assuming that you are in fact flushed and or red for someone, I do hope you confess soon and they agree. I due hope my bluntness is not triggering."
"Not at all. Besides I knew they'll agree." Cronus said while getting to his feet and helping Kankri up, only to pull him into a deep embrace.
"Cronus!" Kankri screamed into the fish's jacket. He hated to admit it but this was awfully good timing. Cronus's warm arms were like a shield against the cold.
"He'll agree." Cronus finished as he kissed Kankri mid-rant.
"You were right. He did agree. Even though it was extremely triggering."
