Into each other, we did not bump;Nor did we gracelessly crash
We did not sound off a minute thump
Or go out with a hazy, fizzling flash
.
But rather, we both collided
Like two spinning sets of coeval stars
Who have been sordidly misdirected;
With one hit, our worlds both came apart
.
But this was to generate a better world
Our own creation, a stunning big bang
Another planet that we designed both
And where we can finally be together again.
