And if the skies be full of gloom
Let the rain then touch your feet
Let it soak and make you cool
Let the flowers have their feast...~*~
Heroes sometimes
Come in trickles of
Soft soothing water
Celestial teardrops
On the windowpane
My calming mentor
Saving me from my
Demons, teaches of
Tranquility's power
Taut nerves unravel
My heartbeat going
Softer, even slower
As a wind whistles
Its merry melodies
Synesthetic colour
And chilly puddles
Bloom rainbows in
Grey skies fervour
I taste the reveries
Petrichor comforts
And my eyes flutter
My soul transcends
I rest my tired bones
On this rainy weather.

Oh, oh, oh
Little raindrop
Listen to the rain...
