He tried so hard
His eyes shed blood
His fingers broke
Praying for hope
.
He called to a God
He never believed in
Asked for a miracle
Lost low in his skin
.
He yelled to the sky
Asked a blatant why
Threw rocks at clouds
His hate growing aloud
.
But his stones bounced back
His bones are still broken
His shouts echoing flack
Reverberated and unlistened
.
He whispered, at last defeated
If he will ever manage to survive
Waiting patiently for the answers
That he knows will never even arrive.
