A/N: The simple cliché. Don't worry; it'll get MUCH BETTER :) Please Enjoy Chapter 2, because some people have been waiting for me to update this story. I've been too lazy to do it on my phone, but I'm on the computer now, so....yeah. Sadly, I cannot do accents on my computer, so Téa's name will look like that, but you know what it really is. :/

"Happy Birthday Yugi!" Gaby, Jacob, and along with many friends and family cheered as now 16 year old Yugi walked in the door afterschool. He let out a high-pitched shriek and almost fell back; he was so surprised, but he was more than happy. His face flushed a soft pink as he set his backpack down with a sheepish smile as everyone laughed at his reaction.

"So this is why you guys left school so early.." Yugi shot a playful glare at his best friends Tea Gardener, Tristan Taylor, and Joey Wheeler, who all gave sheepish smiles at their friend. "Yeah well, we just had to help your parents with the party Yugi!" Tea giggled as she skipped over and wrapped her arms around Yugi, and since he was a bit shorter than her, his head was firmly placed against her chest.

Yugi's slight blush reddened to a bright scarlet as he hugged Tea back shyly,"Mhm...right.."

Yugi's mother - now 47 - smiled happily at her son and stepped over, ruffling his tri-colored hair slightly (although it wouldn't make a difference...) and planted a sweet kiss on his cheek," You're only 16 once Yugi; enjoy it while you can." Yugi let go of Tea and nodded at her, rushing directly to the cake, his friends on his heels.

"My precious light...happy birthday." The stranger smiled darkly as he inspected upon the gathering that unfolded in front of him. "I'm sure you'd love a present though..." His dangerous crimson orbs wandered over to the woman...that woman that his light calls 'Mother'..she is just one of the things that stand in the way of him and his Aibou. "Cursed woman.." The stranger growled softly, taking soundless and ghostly steps toward her..Gabrielle. He stopped - now only a few feet behind her - and reached out, grabbing her forearm firmly.

Gabrielle's head whipped around as she felt something latch on to her arm. She quickly yanked it away, proceeding to walk and meet her son.

The stranger's eyes narrowed as he follows the woman, refusing to give up his objective. Listening out for any sign of detection,he noticed him, sitting beside that other girl. "Aibou.." His gaze softened at the sight of the smaller one. His beautiful black eyes that lit up whenever he spoke or laughed. His laugh, as soft as silk, matching his cute face. He would have to become his. If he didn't,well...

Ra have mercy on his soul.

"We thought outside of the box with this one Yugi! Tristan put on a big grin as he watched his friend's face light up in wonder.

"You guys made a cake..that looks like a hamburger?!" Yugi smiled brightly as the large cake that resembled something of a burger, and Yugi couldn't help but laugh at the writing on top of the top bun.

"Yeah,we kinda figured dat you would like dis type of thing." Joey wrapped an arm around Yugi's neck, pulling him closer in a rough-housing type of way.

"But who made it?"

Téa made a thoughtful face towards Gabrielle, who smiled kindly at her son,"It took lots of time, but it was all worth it."

"Ma.." Yugi's lifeless eyes suddenly gained the slightest of happiness, and he got up before proceeding to give his mother a warm hug,"thank you.."

"Of course sweetheart."

"You're too kind to me."

"And you're too kind to me." Gaby looked down at her son with eyes full of love,"you're the best thing that's happened to me." Then she giggled softly when Jacob cleared his throat abruptly,"since I got married."
