The Red Ghost From Pacman

The work shift at Old Navy went just as good as it did every other day. Yugi would put up with the usual bullshit from customers, and then work at the register, getting more bullshit. He watched with disgust as one lady got so mad that she literally pissed on the floor.

What the hell do you get mad at in an Old Navy?!

Finally, his shift was over, but he didn't feel like going home. So - being the teenager he is - he headed straight over to the local arcade. And guess who he had the displeasure of running into?

"OMG; Yugi Mutou! Quick; I need fashion advice!" His arch rival, Vivian Wong, sneered as she turned from her game to remark. Yugi walked right past her to the Pacman booth. Because Pacman is awesome.

He reached in his pocket and pulled out a quarter; bent down, and slid it in the slot. The screen flashed its level and Yugi - already confident of his victory - smiled. He began to play.

However. Just before he could beat the first level, the Chinese teen swooped in and slammed a manicured hand on the station, scaring poor Yugi out of his skin. Pacman took a wrong turn and ran smack into the red ghost. Game over, bitch.

It took him about three seconds to realize what had happened. When he did, he slowly spun on his heels to face the girl with a fixated jaw and a twitch in his pretty black eyes. She smirked and put hands on her hips,"What?"

"Listen here, ChinaTown. Take your Dim Sum and scat; I was in the middle of a game."

"Aw, that's mean, Yugi. What happened with us?" Vivian leaned down with a smile on her lips," we used to be so close."

Yugi scoffed and walked away. He didn't know where he was going; all he knew was that he was going away from her. Suddenly, he ran smack into a bigger guy with blue eyes, blonde hair and serious muscles. Like a six-pack of Coke on his everything.

"Hello there, friend." Yugi waved nervously, hearing the guy mutter an irritated "hello".

"Yay, Dino's here!" Yugi heard Vivian cheer from behind him. She skipped over and wrapped her arms around the big guy, successfully grossing the black-eyed teen out when she began to loudly French kiss him. She broke awak and laid her head on his chest, stroking it lovingly.

"Is this kid giving you any problems, Viv?" "Dino" asked menacingly, and Yugi shrunk about half a size. This guy's voice was deep! Like...six-foot swimming pool deep. And..that's pretty crucial to Yugi - considering the fact that he's only five-foot-three (he swears that those pills are screwing around with something).

"Oh, him?" Vivian asked and pointed a sharp finger at Yugi,"no. He's fine, baby, don't worry." She twirled her hair between her cream fingers, batting her eyelashes like some lovesick puppy. It was sickening with a capital ugh.

The Colossal Titan glowered down at Yugi," I don't like the look on his face."

"I think he's still into me, honey."

Dino's face turned red hot as he grabbed Yugi by the collar and lifted him about two feet from the ground. "You still like my girl?!"

"Nah, bro. She's all you." Yugi answered apathetically.

The guy eyed him for a while before slowly setting him down. Yugi adjusted his shirt and spoke, "Okay..good chat. I'm gonna go home before Bonnie and Clyde get messy." And with that, he turned and power-walked towards the exit.

"I'm home!" Yugi called as he walked through the front door. Hearing that no one was home, he suspiciously walked around.

"Grandpa?"

Silence.

"Ma? Pa?"

"Yugi?" A deep voice came from upstairs.

"Pa? Thank Ra; it's only you. Where's Grandpa?"

"..with your mother."

"Cool. That's a load off of my back." Jogging upstairs, Yugi attempted to locate the area in which his father was," whatcha up to, Pops?"

"Um..nothing much."

"Well you surely sound clear of that." The teen chuckled, finding the room,"want help with that?"

Jacob stood from the bed in which he was on and replied "sure". Yugi smiled and casually made his way over,"let's go do some Father-Son bonding crap."

"I have a better idea." Within a quick motion, Jacob had gathered Yugi in his arms and pressed a hard kiss on his lips. Yugi's eyes widen immensely and he broke away," D-Dad?! What the living fuck?!"

"Jacob" smiled lovingly before closing in on another kiss, successfully locking lips with his son. Yugi's face burned brightly as he pushed at "Jacob's" chest. Once he succeeded, he stared at the man. What the hell was going on?!

Then - the Yugi's luck - the man had morphed into his old...friend.

"Y-You...!"

"Mm~..your lips are soo~ sweet, Aibou. I hope to taste that when we mate."

"Son of a bitch!" Yugi screamed and shoved the man as hard as he could before trying to run off. The man wasn't having any of that. Sufficiently grabbing Yugi, he pulled the boy against his chest.

"Let me go! Lemme go, you rapist! Where are my parents?! Where is my Grandpa?!"

"They're fine." The stranger replied calmly.

"Tell me who you are! Tell me what you know about me! You kissed me! I hate you! I hate you!" Yugi screeched hysterically, thrashing and kicking viciously.

"Please hold still! Stop struggling!" The cloaked stranger slapped a pale hand over Yugi's mouth, ultimately muffling his screams,"I shall tell you. But only because I finally got what I wanted from you. One of the things. My name is Yami Atharos. And I should be the thing you fear the most."

Yugi drew silent.

"You may be wondering why you should fear me. I'll tell you. I am a what you humans call..a vampire."

Yugi's breath hitched. Tears flooded his eyes as he began to beg," Please don't kill me. Please, please--"

"I have no intention of killing you, Little One, for you shall grant me the sweetest gift."

"Huh?"

"You will become my mate. Such a child like you shall not be exposed to the poverty and cruelty of this world. I plan on pampering you to my fullest abilities."

Yugi managed to push Yami Atharos' hand off of his mouth," I want you to give me my soul back, and leave me alone!"

"And I've already explained why I shall not do that."

"Bas--"

"Don't you dare finish that phrase! Or I shall suck every ounce of blood that's stored inside of that pathetic little body!"

The teen froze.

"Besides, I am more than a vampire. But I will not tell you that part. Just know that soon I will have you writhing under me."

"Like hell you will!"

"Believe what you will." Yami turned Yugi's head to eye level," I will see you around..and I'll miss those perfect candy lips."

Yugi growled. Yami smirked.

"Until then." Yami disappeared with a cold chuckle.

The teenager hugged himself. There he was again! That stranger! He..he had-

"Yugi?"

Yugi spun around, only to face the face of his concerned Grandpa," what's wrong,my boy?"

With widen eyes, Yugi looked around his feet. Then he burst into tears, throwing himself into Solomon's arms," oh Grandpa! He - that man - he-he..he..I - kissed...he kissed..oh Grandpa!" He sobbed into his relative's shirt and cries harder when a hand was rested upon his head.

Yami Atharos was a vampire. But he said he was more than that.
