Uneasy

So whats it gonna be ?

Daniya grew quiet as she thought about what she was about to say but then Keshawn she saw how interested he looked to know what was wrong with her. She thought about how much he cared about her and how it would break his heart to know that she wasn't being loyal or honest.

"...Um I had a big fight with my momma when I saw her today." She lied because that wasn't all.

"Why didn't you come straight home with me to avoid this shit Daniya?" Keshawn asked.

"I don't know okay." Daniya replied beginning to cry a little.

Keshawn didn't know what to say so he just held her in his arms.

"I got her to sign those adoption papers." Daniya whispered in his ear.

"Why you haven't told nobody?" Keshawn asked.

"I don't know." Daniya said.

He looked at her then held her tighter this time. "Now you can be with me for sure and never leave my side." He said.

A feeling of guiltiness ran over Daniya as she thought about how much their relationship was getting serious and she wasn't even just for him. She was for him and a whole notha nigga.

"We gotta tell my momma." Keshawn said.

"Yeah let's tell her." Daniya replied.

They walked into the kitchen together.

"Aye ma Daniya got something to tell you actually everybody. Keshawn said.

"What?" Nicole asked.

"Umm don't get mad but, I snuck those adoption papers from your room the other day." Daniya said.

"That's the big news, you stole from me and that's the big news...why would you do that Daniya?" Nicole asked crossing her arms.

"I wanted to I don't know just see what was all about I guess." Daniya replied.

"And do you?" Nicole asked.

"Yeaa." Daniya said.

"So where is it?" Kaya asked jumping in.

"Right here." Daniya said pulling it out of her pocket with a smirk.

Nicole snatched it off the counter then read over it. A smile grew across her face.

"Daniya I don't even know what to say." Nicole said with tears of joy forming.

"Hug me." Daniya said smiling.

Nicole rushed over to her and held her tight. Soon after so did everyone else.

"Ayeeee we FAM now ayeeew." Kaya said in her ratchet voice beginning to twerk.

Kaya was in the moment until she saw her mama looking at her with a frown. "Oh my badd momma I got a luh excited." Kaya said.

Everyone laughed it off.

"So What y'all want to eat?" Nicole asked.

"Some chicken and rice." Lauren yelled out.

"Nawh I want some nachos." Keshawn said rubbing his stomach.

"Mama can you make some Tacos." Kaya asked.

"You know what we can just go to the mall then get some fast food and call it a night." Nicole said walking away laughing.

"Don't put no luh tight shit on Daniya." Keshawn said after his momma left the kitchen.

"Boy." Daniya replied putting up the middle finger.
