Uneasy

..Change its a curse sometimes

"Um not anymore." Daniya responded.

"Do you know who is living here by chance?" The officer asked.

"Yeah there in the house go see for yourself." Daniya said harshly before walking off.

She wondered why the police officer was there but was to angry to care to much.

The next day...

"Aye baby?" A Jaylen said putting his arm around Daniya.

"Hey." Daniya said feeling a little awkward because of what happened the night before.

"I'm sorry about last night..I didn't mean to hit you I just got pissed about you know." Jaylen said.

"Yeah its fine." Daniya said not really sure how to feel.

"You are going to kill it right?" Jaylen asked.

Daniya's heart dropped as she took in what he had just said.

Kaya walked past them and didn't say a word .

"Kaya!" Daniya said.

"What do you want Daniya?" Kaya asked as she stopped at her locker.

"What's your problem?" Daniya asked.

"My problem or are you the one with the problem ..how could you leave us ..how could you leave Lauren?" Kaya asked with disbelief on her face.

"Man get the fuck on , you ain even gotta listen to this shit." Jaylen budded in.

"I think you better shut yo ass up before I get my brother." Kaya said rolling her eyes.

"Let's shake bae." Jaylen said.

"Yeah shake Daniya oh and I didn't wanna tell you like this but Yo moms is dead John killed her, but you don't care anyways." I'm just sorry Lauren gotta deal with it without her real sister. Have a nice life Daniya.

Daniya didn't know if she wanted to scream or cry. If she wanted to feel bad or just not care. Sad thing is she tried to believe she didn't care but that was her mother she cared...A lot .

"I feel bad because I ..I didn't give her a chance." Daniya cried in Jaylen's arms. I hit her and I treated her like some bitch on the street. No matter what she did ..I'm just as evil as she was.

"No your a good person." Jaylen said as he held her tight.

"No I left my little sister and a family that loved me." Daniya said.

"Man I don't wanna hear shit about them especially Keshawn." Jaylen said harshly.

Daniya was afraid to speak.

"I gotta make a run...I'll see you later." Jaylen said leaving her in his bed alone.

"What if your mom comes home ?" Daniya asked.

"She'll prolly be off the shits so don't even trip off her." He said before kissing her on her forehead then leaving.

She sat there in silence for a couple of minutes then walked over to the bathroom.

She stared at her stomach in the tall mirror then placed her hand on it. A tear fell down her cheek.

"I'm sorry." She said aloud to herself.

She heard her phone ring causing her to flinch. She rushed over to it.

It was from an unknown number.
"This Kmoni don't worry bout how I got your number ..I don't like you like that but you invited to my party tonight be there at 8:00...on tower grove 218."
