Chapter three:
"General Wallows? This is nurse Betty from Mellowville high school..." The nurse said slowly over the phone. Willow watched her as she paced back and forth through the office. Was this really happening?
"Ah, Nurse Betty, it's been a long time. What's new?" General Wallows asked gruffly through the phone.
"We have another code 1423768." Nurse Betty replied calmly and turned to look at Willow.
"Really? It's been ages!" General Wallows answered gleefully, "I'll be right over." And with that General Wallows hung up. Nurse Betty sighed and then gave Willow a fake smile.
"What's going to happen?" Willow asked nervously and stared at Nurse Betty.
"Everything is going to be just-" Nurse Betty was interrupted by a sudden blast from the roof. Nurse Betty and Willow looked up to see General Wallows in a helicopter with a handheld cannon. He had a grey mustache and neat work clothes that looked like an army uniform.
"Sorry about your roof ma'am." General Wallows let out a laugh and looked at Willow, "Hello there! Come on! Your new life awaits!" General Wallows let down the rope ladder in front of Willow. Willow stared at the General and then at the rope ladder. Slowly, she took hold of the ladder.
Soon they were flying over a large grey building with no windows.
"We've reached our destination!" General Wallows yelled over the helicopter. He then landed the helicopter. Inside the building it was quiet and cold. Really really cold.
"Welcome to your new home ma' lady." General Wallows grinned as they walked through the hallway. Willow shivered.
" W-Why is it so cold in h-here?" Willow stuttered and rubbed her arms. General Wallows rolled his eyes and started laughing.
"Benny! Come on, we know it's you." General Wallows hollered while laughing some more. Suddenly a tall teenage boy came from the shadows and with one flip of his wrist the cold air went away. Willow looked at him with big eyes.
"This is Benny." General Wallows said with a proud smile.
"Hi, I have ice powers." Benny said shaking Willow's hand. Willow smiled back but that smile quickly faded when she saw something coming around the corner.
