Chapter thirteen:

Willow opened the hatch to the roof and saw a beautiful sight. There was a table with a white cloth covering it and scented candles on the table. There was romantic music playing in the background and Ryan was sitting there waiting for her. Willow walked over to him and smiled nervously.

"Hi." Willow said quietly. Ryan quickly got up and pulled out Willow's chair.

"You came." Ryan responded almost surprised that this was happening. Willow sat down and started to play with her hair.

"This, this is beautiful." Willow smiled warmly to put Ryan at ease. Ryan sat down and laughed.

"Nothing but the best." Ryan answered with a flirty smile.

Willow and Ryan talked for hours. It ended up that they had a lot in common. Ryan's parents died when he was 10 and he was put into foster care until he gained super powers and was brought here. Willow didn't think that it would go so well and neither did Ryan.

"You seriously don't like French fries?" Willow asked, she was laughing so hard that she barely got the words out.

"Yeah, they are way too dry and frankly they just taste awful." Ryan laughed and flipped his hair.

"I'm having a great time Ryan. I'm impressed." Willow said happily.

"Yeah, I really like you Willow." Ryan replied and started to lean in toward Willow. Willow leaned in closer to Ryan. They were just about to kiss when all of a sudden someone burst through the hatch and onto the roof.

"What do you two think you're doin'?!" General Wallows barked at Willow and Ryan. Willow jumped in shock and Ryan looked horrified to see the General.

"I was just informed that you two are up here and it's after 10!" The General yelled angrily.

"Who told you?" Ryan asked and glared at the General.

"That's not important now! Get your butts back to your rooms!" The General commanded. Willow and Ryan quickly went down the stairs, not even getting a chance to say goodnight.

The next morning, Katie and Willow were the first ones to the training room. At first Katie didn't say anything but she couldn't contain her excitement.

"So how'd it go?" Katie blurted out and smiled goofily at Willow. Willow smiled at the thought of last night.

"I really enjoyed it and it turns out that we have a lot in common." Willow started training and turned invisible. Katie screamed happily and jumped up and down.

"So you'll be going on another date with him?" Katie questioned Willow still jumping up and down. Willow turned visible and frowned.

"I don't know if I should." Willow sighed and looked at Katie sadly. Katie looked very confused.

"Why? I thought you had a great time." Katie replied.

"I have trust issues with guys." Willow mumbled as she flashed back to a horrid memory. Katie interrupted her thoughts by shaking her.

"Willow! You can trust Ryan. You can trust everyone here." Katie stopped shaking Willow when Willow gave her the death glare.

"You don't understand, I can't trust guys!" Willow glared at Katie.

"But Willow-" Katie started to say.

"No, you don't know what I've been through!" Willow stormed out of the training room with tears streaming down her cheeks. Just as she left the training room she bumped into Aaron. He looked at her a bit confused.

"What's wrong with you?" Aaron asked but Willow got up and ran off without saying a word to him.
