Chapter fifteen:

Willow didn't move. She didn't know what to do without Katie helping her. Had Katie left Willow to fend for herself? Willow took a deep breath and crept over to a nearby counter.

She turned visible and looked down at her gps watch. According to the watch Katie was right on top of her. Willow looked around her and then up at the ceiling.

Katie was up on the ceiling hanging on to a light fixture. Willow covered her mouth in surprise. Katie smiled and slowly started to move toward the gunman using the light fixtures. Willow turned invisible and waited for Katie to spring into action.

Katie was right over the gunman now. Slowly she started to move back and forth on the light fixture which made a small creaking noise. The first gunman looked up and saw Katie.

Katie quickly jumped down and kicked him right in the jaw which knocked the gun out of his hand.

"AAHH! Chris! Get her!" the first gunman yelled at the other gunman. Willow quickly jumped over the counter she was hiding behind and grabbed the gun. Chris stopped and screamed with wide eyes.

"Floating gun! Floating gun! It's a ghost!" Chris cried out in a panic when Willow picked up the gun. Chris ran out of the bank as fast as he could, leaving the other robber to fend for himself.

Willow ran behind the remaining gunman and knocked him over. The robber looked up to see the floating gun.

"Run." Willow said simply with a grin. The gun man scrambled to his feet and ran out the door. Willow turned visible and smiled at Katie.

"Not bad newbie." Katie gave Willow a high five and laughed a little. The hostages in the bank cheered and cried gratefully. But before they could thank Willow and Katie they left the bank in a flash.

They went back to General Wallow's base to see a big grin on the General's face.

"I knew you two could do it! I just got the call from a secret source. As soon as those two ran out of the bank the chief of police was right there to cuff them both. I'm proud of you two." General Wallows patted Katie on the back and laughed.

Katie and Willow smiled proudly and started to walk off toward their room. Inside their room Willow flopped down on her bed and couldn't stop grinning.

"What are you smiling about?" Katie asked noticing the look on Willow's face.

"I've never felt more alive. What an incredible feeling!" Willow's face was flushed with excitement and hugged her pillow.

"Words of a true hero." Katie smiled and brushed her hair gently.

Suddenly a knock sounded at the girl's door. Willow got up and answered the door, still smiling. Willow opened the door to see Ryan and Benny. Ryan grabbed Willow in a bear hug.

"You guys are ok! The General just told us what happened." Ryan exclaimed and still held on to Willow. Katie got up from her bed and gave the boys a funny smile.

"We can take care of ourselves you know." Katie replied and crossed her arms. Benny smiled and rolled his eyes.

"We know, but you know us. We worry." Benny laughed. Willow broke away from Ryan's hug and giggled.

"So what have you guys been up to all day?" Willow asked in a flirty way. Ryan and Benny got this mischievous look on their faces and looked at each other.

"What are you up to?" Katie questioned them with narrowed eyes. Willow looked up at Benny and Ryan and squinted. Ryan finally couldn't keep what he had to say a secret.

"The General is going to let us go out into the world for one whole day!" He exclaimed happily. Willow and Katie looked at each other and then jumped up and down excitedly.

"He told us just after you two left for your mission and we just can't wait to get out of here." Benny laughed and looked around the room. Ryan looked at Willow with a big smile.

"Yeah, when we get out of here we could go on a proper date... Alone." he got closer to Willow and grinned. Willow smiled and blushed a little. She hadn't felt this way in a long time. Then Benny broke the moment with a laugh.

"Aaron says as soon as the General let's us all out that we're never going to see him again." Benny rolled his eyes and leaned against the wall. Willow and Katie frowned at what Benny said.

"Good, we don't need him anyway." Katie walked back over to her bed and sat down. Willow looked over at her alarm clock, it read 9:15 PM. It was early but there was something that Willow had to take care of.

"Well, it's getting late. We should really get to bed." Willow faked a yawn and started to close the door. Ryan gave Willow a funny look.

"It's only 9. It's not even late." Ryan scoffed.

"Well it's been a long day. Good night!" And with that Willow shut the door all the way. Katie got up and walked over to Willow.

"Um, what was that all about." Katie questioned Willow. Willow just shrugged and opened the door again.

"There's just something that I have to go do real quick." Willow replied and slipped out the door.
