Despite having nothing to look forward to at the office, I had more than enough work on my plate.
I had taken the back seat at all the meetings and let the director handle most of them.
He seemed like he knows what he's doing, which is the reason why he's demanded of the position. But he needed to tone down the jokes and the cologne.
All in all, the day had been a mildly good one so far.
I had commissioned the interior designers to start work next week. That way I have an excuse to be with Dami when he does get discharged.
For some reason I wasn't looking forward to being locked in the same house. It was one thing to camp in his hospital room, it was another for him to camp in my house.
But if we're being truthful, I look forward to having him in my house.
I didn't go to the hospital.
