Chapter 18.
*HARRY P.O.V*
"What do you mean you're hurting everyone you love?" Mum whispered over the phone.
I took a deep breath. "I'm going to die mum. As hard as I try to survive, I just know I'm not going to make it. Cancer will beat me." She gasped.
"Harold Edward Styles. Don't you ever say that again. You will not let cancer win this battle. You are stronger than that."
"I know. Sorry mum." I whispered.
"I'll be there in just a couple hours, wake up Lilah. I don't want you to be alone. I love you." Her voice cracked at the end.
"Okay. I love you mum. See you soon."
"Bye baby."
"Bye mum." I clicked the end button, ending our conversation. I stalked off to my bedroom, noticing that Lilah was sleeping peacefully. I couldn't bear to wake her up, she looked so innocent, that nothing could ever hurt her.
"Daddy?" A little voice crept around the corner of our bedroom. I quickly wiped away my tears. I spun around and knelt down.
"Yes baby?" My voice cracked.
"What's wrong?" Her sweet voice rang through my ears.
"Nothing." I thought of an excuse. "I just miss my mum."
"Grandma?" I nodded.
"Yes baby. Grandma."
"I miss Grandma." Darcy whispered.
"Well, Grandma will be here soon." The corners of my mouth slowly edged up.
"Yay!" She cheered. I gestured for her to come here, which she obeyed. I quickly snatched her up into my arms.
"Can we watch Telly daddy?"
"Yes baby, we can." I walked towards the living area and sat down on the couch, placing Darcy on my lap. I grabbed the remote off of the side table and turned on the Telly. "What do you want to watch?" I whispered.
"I don't know." She mumbled. I flipped through the channels. Maybe we should watch a movie instead?
"How about we watch your favorite movie?" Dede nodded. "Why don't you get BooBear while I pick out a movie?"
She hopped off my lap and ran into her room. I logged onto Netflix and selected Pooh Bear. While the movie was loading, Darcy bounced into the room and onto my lap.
"I got BooBear!" She lifted up her stuffed teddy bear.
"Good. C'mere the movie is getting ready to start." She nodded and hopped back into my lap.
"What we watching Daddy?"
"Your favorite movie baby."
"Pooh?" I nodded as the movie started. "I love you daddy." Her soft voice whispered into my ear.
"I love you."

"Anyone home?" My mothers voice flooded the flat. I quickly snapped my eyes open, being careful to not wake Darcy. I gently picked her up off my lap and into my arms.
"Yeah, sorry. We must have fallen asleep during the movie." I walked up to my mum and gave her a one-armed hug.
"Hi baby." She hugged back and kisses Darcy's forehead.
"Hi mum."
"How've you been?"
"Never better." I said sarcastically, causing my mum to give me a look. "You?"
"Good."
"You've been driving all night, you can settle in the guest room?" She nodded.
I showed her to the room next to Darcy's.
"Thank you." Mum smiled.
"Anytime." She walked into the guest room. As much as I wanted to hold my baby in my arms, I know she has to go to bed. I can't wait until we move into the new house. Wait, when do we move into the new house? I'll ask Lilah in the morning. I tip-toed into Darcy's room ad placed her into her crib. I covered her up and kissed her forehead.
"Goodnight baby. I love you."
