The Without A Song Tetralogy was conceived originally as a complete story that has gone far beyond the original storyline. A story based upon my time in the Middle East, around experiences that I enjoyed and suffered.
When I returned home I got on with life, divorce, jobs and travel. My experiences stayed with me and when I got to my personal rut I found an exit in creative writing classes. Somewhere between poetry and prose, between Haiku and hard research I had a story in my head. That nagging feeling that would not go away, that would take place on three continents, to three sides of the same central character.
The original story was once a single book but it outgrew itself. Now I have a Tetralogy of Without A Song, Without A Dream, Without Love and Without A Future (working title) . Each part is tied to the others, each subsequent part an extension to the first. Love, Life, Marriage, Death and a Promise.
