Kai The killer (( a Jeff the Killer Fanfiction)) (Watty Awards 2013-2014)

An uncomfortable start

*Kai's POV*

I wake up, with a painful ache in my back. I can't stretch very well. I realize I have a back brace and I'm in just my torn tank top. I carefully get up and rub my eyes and walk to the living room. Jeff is asleep on the couch. I go and gently shake him awake. He suddenly waving a knife around, but sees it's just me and puts down the knife and sits up and lets me sit, which I do. I go to hug him but my back stops me. He reaches out and hugs me gently.

"I'm so glad he didn't kill you Kai. Can you please tell me what happened? I'd like to go kill the b-stard."

"well there's a problem with that. I killed him" I laugh a little. His jaw drops.

"How!?"

"well first when I was fighting him, he threw me at the wall, causing my ribs and guessing my back to break, but I didn't think it was so I stupidly jumped and dug my knives into his own spine and put all my weight on my arms and knives, which hurt like hell fire but I ripped through his back, and killed him, oh and I cut a smile into his 'face'" I explain. Jeff looks like I just hit him across the face.

"wow...." Jeff says still bewildered.

"well and then, how it started was I woke up in the cave and the room I was in was filled with people killed in the most brutal ways possible. Slender challenged me right when I woke but I didn't fight. He gave me a knife and told me you were dead.....and left...I cried myself to sleep because I believed him.." I say tearing up just remembering the thought. Jeff leans over and hugs me again.

"well I'm surely not dead Kai, don't worry" he says comfortingly. I put my head on his shoulder and continue.

"thank you Jeff, heh..well...after I woke...these creatures that I coined Crawlers...attacked me...they were huge skinny things with black eyes and weird smile looking mouths with razor sharp teeth, I know that for a fact." I say showing him the scars.

"how did those heal so fast? you've only been down there two months-" Jeff says but I cut across him.

"two months!?"

"yeah? how long did ya think you were down there?"

"two weeks at most! but then again, slender told me I was out a long time, and he decided to try bashing my head in. He knocked me out though. What month is it?" I ask.

"It is..hm November 13th," Jeff says after pulling out my phone from his pocket, checking it and handing it to me. "I thought to seek advice from your friend Anika, she sent you over a hundred texts anyways."

"that's definitely Anika," I say and check the phone, half of the texts just say 'Jeff? where'd you go? find Kai yet?' "well...ya know, we should go meet up with anika, I feel bad for her" I laugh a little as I say it.

"hmmm sure, well I'm going to go get food from the kitchen, hungry?"

"yeah! " I laugh, I'm starving, I don't know how long ago I ate. Jeff laughs too.

"ok" he replies and goes to the kitchen. I start to text anika.

"Hi anika, it's kai now, how are you?" I ask, barely have time to blink before she replies.

"Kai!! Are you ok? what happened? "

"in short, I eas took by slender, attacked by sanity taking creatures, broke my back, and killed slender. "

"oh my gosh! You killed him!?"

"hah yeah, hey was wondering if you'd like to meet up with Jeff, smile, Jack, maybe BEN and I"

"Of course!"

"ok, remember the clearing? There's a second one about a few miles away with an old rotten house, bring some type of protection, like a knife and go there, I'm sure it's safe but better be safe then sorry, I'll tell Jeff, we'll meet up there hm tomorrow."

"oh ok! I don't wanna walk so far but oh well! I'll tell my parents, bye"

"bye" I send it and turn off my phone and go to twist to see what Jeff is doing but pain shoots through my back and I yelp and twist back.

"kai you ok?"

"y-yeah, just...just twisted where I shouldn't" I say cringing. Ouch.

"oh, ok, be careful."

"yeah...well were going to meet with anika at the house that we saw smile the first time, tomorrow"

"ok, well lets eat and then I want you to get some rest after we eat."

"haha ok" I say and Jeff brings some food from the fridge and we eat. Then Jeff walks me to the bedroom because I don't think I feel very good. I fall asleep on my face, somehow, I don't know but I normally sleep on my side. I pretty much fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow though. It feels good to sleep peacefully.
