Hormones are a pain huh?

*two weeks later*

Today's my birthday! November 27th! yup! I get up and although I'm still wearing a brace my back hurts much less. Jeff ain't in the bed so he must be awake already. I change into a white and a black tank top and pull my hoodie on since the house is cold, I then pull on a pair of black and white striped and blood stained skinny jeans. Jeff got them for me a few days ago. I walk to the kitchen and grab a piece of toast and eat and look over and see everyone gathered in the living room staring or watching patiently. I was about to say something when Ben and Jeff exclaim.

"happy birthday!" and smile howls along with them. I walk over and hug them.

"thanks guys! but how did you know? I thought i was gonna get to surprise you!" I say jokingly.

"well babe you talk in your sleep and mentioned it multiple times." Jeff says laughing. I've gotten used to him calling me 'babe' recently.

"Oh yeah, haha well thank you again guys!" I thank them again, then Jack signs to me.

"We all have presents! even Smile." He signs and which i repeat aloud.

"aw thanks guys, you shouldn't have!"

"ok we'll save best for last meaning, Jeff you go sit down." Ben says with a mischievous look on his face. I wonder what it is....Jeff laughs nervously and sits down and smile walks up to me holding a parcel in his mouth. He hands it to me and barks happily. I open it and find that it's a new knife. It's a long serrated steel knife. Amazing.

"thanks buddy!" I say and hug him and set the knife down. Then Jack steps forward and hands me a bag. I hope to dear god it's not a kidney. I open it and it's a brand new black hoodie with crude fake blood splatters. I laugh and hug him too.

"thanks Jack it's awesome." I say, take off the hoodie I'm wearing and put on the new one. Then Ben floats forward.

"you mentioned being able to play clarinet." he says and hands me a case and folder. A brand new clarinet and a folder filled with music from the easiest to the most difficult you can find.

"thanks! and yes I did, Where'd ya find it?"

"stole it and gathered the music. I even found my favorite songs. A lot of zelda songs are in there" he says excitedly. We laugh and he shrugs.

"well I'd hug ya but I can't so I'll let ya hug me" I say laughing. Ben laughs to and hugs me. Then the three step to the side and Jeff stands up and gulps. He looks very nervous. He has a hand behind his back He walks up to me and gets down on one knee. Holy f-ck.

"k-kai..Will you marry me?" he asks that one question every girl waits to hear and hold up a box with a beautiful 24 k. gold and Diamond ring.

"yes! Yes Jeff! I will!" i exclaim and hug him tightly and kiss him. He hugs back and gently takes my left hand and slips the ring onto my ring finger. He then kisses me back and wraps his arms around my waist. "I love you Jeff."

"I love you too Kai" Jeff says softly. I put my arms around his neck then remember jack, ben, and smile are sitting there watching us. I feel heat rise up in my face and all of us laugh. I playfully flip them off and push Jeff down flat on his back and kiss him again. Best day of my life ever. I will cherish this day forever. Not just as my birthday but as the day Jeff purposed to me.

*six months later*

I stare at the positive sign in a mix of horror, anger and excitement. I missed my monthly week of pissyness (if you know what I mean) so i decided to grab a pregnancy test. And it f-cking came out positive. Yeah Jeff and I went through everything necessary but, I really didn't think I'd actually get pregnant.
