Mitch's pov
Sky said Emily, Ty, Herobrine, and him were going scouting. I wanted to go, but they said they needed someone to gourd camp. So Jerome, Husky, and I are on gourd duty. We see the four come out of the woods with two girls. One looks hurt. The other is carrying her.
"Psst! Mitch!" I hear Ty whisper-yelling. "Come with me!" He grabs my arm and pulls me to one of the girls. "This is Mitch. Mitch, this is Jade. Mitch, show her to her tent."
"Uhh... ok. Follow me." I take her to am empty tent. We walk in and sit at a table.
"So. I hear you like diamond axes." I look up at her.
"Ya. Why?" I ask confused. She gets up and grabs one. She smiles at me. I walk over to her. "Wow. You use a diamond axe? We do too. But we call her Betty." I say proud.
"R-Really? Me too!" She says excitedly. I look up from Betty and into her dark blue eyes. I realised how beautiful she is. Then I remembered a really cool place. I walk over to the table. She puts Betty down and follows.
"You know. I found a really pretty spot just over the north hill. Follow me!" I grabbed her hand and pulled her to the special spot. It was a cliff overhanging a lake. When we got there, her mouth was open in shock. She looked over to the forest and froze. I looked to see what it was. A forest fire. Headed to camp. I wasn't too worried about camp, but more about two boys running away. I looked more closely. One looks to be unconscious. I run off the cliff and into the lake and I hear Jade splash next to me. We swim to shore and towards the fire. We run into the boys.
"Who are you?" The conscious one asks.
"Mitch. You?" I ask.
"Spencer. And this is Ethan. He got burned. Bad."
"How bad? Oh and we should run." We turn to see a wall of fire headed towards us. I grab Ethan and we run to the wall but Spencer stops.
"Where's Soja?!" He asks.
"Who?" Jade and I ask in sync. We look to the fire to see a girl in a spider jacket and black jeans and converse running to us.
"Soja! Where were you?" Spencer asks her.
"Up a tree. It caught on fire, so I ran for it." She replies. Her voice reminds me of a spider. Well, everything about her reminds me of a spider.
"Well, what does it matter anymore. We're trapped!" Jade yells as she punches the cliff. I see Spencer look at Soja. She nods.
"Have you heard of hybrids?" She asks. We nod. She grabs Ethan and Jade and climbs up the wall like a sp- she's half spider. Of coarse she is. She's soon back down here and grabs Spencer and me. We are at the top to see the fire go reach where we were at seconds ago.
"We need to go, like, now." She says. "The suns going down." We run to base.
"Where were you guys?!" Jason yells/asks. "Who- let me guess. They need our help. Both of them." He says.
"Both? Where's Soja?" I ask. We turn to see Soja with red eyes and a red and black sword. And guess what. It's night time. Whoop-de-doo.
