Jeonghans Pov

Seungcheol and Minghao come into the living room. Minghao sits next to me and Seungcheol sits next to him. My parents look at Minghao like he's gold.

" These are your grandparents" I say

My mom has never met Minghao either so today is her first time seeing him. My dads just excited because he thinks he can play sports with him and go fishing but little does he know that Minghao does martial arts and likes to draw.

" Aigoo you're so handsome" she says

" Just like your grandpa" he says as I roll my eyes

" How about you show me around the house?" Dad asks Minghao

" Me?" He says

" Yeah you, we can talk as we go" he says

Minghao looks back at me for an answer. My dad is the first person in the world to have a wrong opinion. All he's going to do is try and put negative thoughts into his head.

" Uh... I don't think--" Seungcheol cuts me off

" Go ahead" he says as I hit his shoulder

" Yah!" I say

My dad starts to walk off but I pull Minghao back for a second.

" Don't be afraid to put him in his place if he says something stupid" I say

" Kill him with positivity" Seungcheol says

He nods and walks off to him.

Minghao's Pov

I go up the stairs and he follows behind me. I lead him down the hall but he stops to look around.

" This is our wall where we put all of our awards. Since Appa is leader he keeps all of the awards with him. Some of these are my spelling bee awards and my honor roll awards" I say

" What are the medals" he asks touching my 3 gold medals hanging on a hook

" The medals are from my martial arts competitions and my drawing competition" I say

He nods and we walk further down the hall. I stop at my parents room and open the door.

" This is Eomma and Appas room" I say

Their room is really big. They have a big open space in front of their bed and there's a couch in there too. They also have 2 walk in closets and a bathroom.

" Who's Eomma?" He asks

" Jeonghan" I say

" But Jeonghans a boy" he says

" You just don't get it" I say

" Then explain" he says

" Today Jeonghan is a boy. Tomorrow he might be a girl, or still a boy, or both, and he might be neither." I say

" Then how come when you talk about him you say he?" He asks

" Because that's the pronouns he prefers" I say

" So what do you tell your friends. I have a dad and sometimes my other dad is my mom but sometimes he's neither and sometimes he's both?" He says

" I say I have two parents. It's not that damn difficult" I say walking out the room

He looks shocked at my response but he follows me anyway. Lastly I take him out to the backyard.

" Me and my dad used to go fishing and play football together. We would cut our hair together and he would give me advice on the ladies. It was great" he says

" What are you trying to make me believe?" I ask

" What? I'm just telling you about things me and my dad did" he says

" Stop trying to make it seem like my family isn't normal. Just because he has long hair and has a boyfriend doesn't mean he's living wrong. You should be happy for him instead of trying to turn his son against him!" I say

" That's not what I was trying to do at all" he says

" You know damn well none of those things you said are things Jeonghan does. You're just trying to make me want what you and your dad did. " I say

" I don't appreciate the way you're talking to me" he says

" And I don't appreciate you disrespecting my parents. But oh fucking well right?" I say

I leave him behind and walk towards the door. I did exactly what my parents told me to do. I'm not gonna allow him to sit there and talk bad about us.

Jeonghans Pov

We stand on the living room balcony listening to Minghao and my dad argue. I want to see how Minghao takes what we told him to do.

" And I don't appreciate you disrespecting my parents. But oh fucking well right?" He says and then walks away

" He has your mouth" Seungcheol says

" Damn right he does" I say

He stands by the door for a few seconds and then turns back around and walks back to him. What is he doing?

" You know what, I'm sorry for speaking to you that way. I'm still mad at you though." He says

He turns back around and walks away without hearing what my dad had to say. I'm proud of him for being the bigger person.

" He gets that from you" I say

" Natural born leader" Seungcheol says

We walk back into the living room and have a seat on the couch. A few seconds later Minghao walks in and sits down.

" You heard us didn't you?" He asks

" You did well" Seungcheol says

My dad walks in and we stop our conversation.

" Alright, I should head back to my hotel. I'll come to visit again. I'll take Minghao with me and we can go fishing" he says

We say out goodbyes and he leaves. My mom gets up and hugs us all.

" You've got yourself an amazing family here. It was wonderful meeting you Seungcheol and Minghao. Come visit me" she says

We say goodbye and she leaves. Now I have to cook dinner, find out what's wrong with Minghao, make sure his homework is done, check our schedule for tomorrow, and read the latest articles.

" I'm really behind on time. I have so much left to do" I say

"And only two hours before bedtime to do them all" Seungcheol says

" I'll only need one" I say
