with the keys finally in hand i put the key in the ignition and the engine roars. the gas is full and there are some canisters in the back seat, it's like he knew that someone needed to get away. oh shit. maybe he needed to get away. i turn off the engine
" i know i'm going to regret this."
i open the door and head back into the house. maybe there was a reason for the canisters, maybe to prep for a vacation or an escape from solitude, or his escape from the defining silence of nature. when i get to the stairs i open the door and head to the closet door that is still blocked by the giant orange couch. i open the door and place my hand infront of me incase he attacks me. he stands in front of me and i look him in the eyes, he's angry but won't show it. i feel his anger, i'm just happy i don't have to kill him.
"you think you are cute don't you, ryan. you think that just because you are are a little girl means that i won't hurt you?" he smirkd and lunges at me.
i jump back and try to control my temper, last think i need to do is get mad at him. i nod at him and walk away rolling my eyes. he grabs my arm and pulls me in.
you know i like it fiesty. there is no one around for miles, and well i get lonely up here.
"excuse me... this is getting weird. First of all let go of my boob! secondly I'M NOT LITTLE, I'M THE SAME SIZE AS YOU! And thirdly touch me again and you'll wish you were dead." i grab his wrist and grip it hard letting him know i'm not fooling around. he doesn't let go of me. i look at him. it's on. I knee him in the balls and he lets go of my wrist. when he bends over i use my wrist to hit him in the nose, hopefully breaking it. he covers his face and i knee him in the groin again with no hesitation. he falls to the ground and i feel better.
"what the fuck is wrong with you!" he exclaims as blood trickles onto his lips.
"you'll never know, it was nice meeting you you gross pig. oh btw i'm taking your car so good luck with your face... well your face and you're most likely purple balls. Oh and another thing you're a terrible fighter you didn't even come close to hurting me."
i leave him with a smile on my face. and to believe that i was going to let this guy out because i felt bad for locking him in. i'll teleport him to a hospital later. i teleport myself to the car. and get in again and turn the engine back on. i pull out of the garage and head down the road. i'm about to pass the apple tree when i hear a scream and a thud. i see blood on the windshield. i open my door and look out to see what i hit and out of nowhere i'm clobbered by him. he pulls me out of the car by my hair and i fall to the ground. I'M SO DONE! i look at him and teleport him out of the car directly in front of me. i get in and hit the gas hard. i run him over with the right side of the car. i don't even look back i'm just going to ignore this guy and hope he dies, fuck sending him to the hospital.
i get to the end on the road and see ruby. she sees the car and looks confused and terrified. i roll down the window and smile.
"is that blood?" she says as she starts to turn pale.
yes... um no... um... what? i don't know where to start. "yes." i say nervously
"are you okay? what happened? i was really pissed that you left me alone but i'll complain another time."
" there was a house back there! it was great, the guy had a bunch of supplies so i got a bunch of stuff for our journey back! i got attacked by a guy and think he wanted to rape me, but i killed him so it's okay!" i say really quickly
"What the hell! you killed him?"
" i just knocked him down first but he was persistent. he jumped on the car and attacked me again so i got upset and placed him in front of the car and ran him over. i don't know if he's actually dead, but i'd rather not find out... so you like the truck? it's kinda tiny but it works. there are so many supplies including extra gas for the car incase we run out."
"cool beans. umm before we begin our journey i have to pee. i'll be right back" ruby says as she starty so head off.
"oh same here, let's go together! i -"
"NO!" she jumps
"why? it's safer to stay together?"
"Because i'm umm shy." she says
"okay well pee safely i'll go right here, but pee fast incase that freak is still alive."
she laughs "okay." i look away and go find a bush. after i go pee i get to the car and sit in it and roll up the window. i look at the clock 8:56 pm it's getting late. i hope i can drive well, i'm sleep deprived and running on empty in the energy department. 20 minutes pass and i begin to worry about ruby. ill give it another five minutes and then i'm going to look for her.
each night i grow more and more scared i've been attacked so many times but ruby is worth saving. i got attacked by a bear and a 40 year old man, what's next a wolf? i just wonder how i've healed so well and so quick without any medical attention. maybe i'm developing a healing ability. God that will suck, i can't even control teleportation yet and i've had that for 17 years. however controlling my sight is easy, i wish it was as easy to master all abilities that you get, but no to earn and to master are two different things. God i don't want another "gift". okay its time to go looking for ruby in this fucked up forest.
