SORRY, NOT EDITED AGAIN...OOPS

"Where are we going?" Cole begged me.
"Be patient. We're almost there." My lips were in a supressed grin.
"Cole, mu aunt, and I were all in my van heading to where Cole's present resided. Anyone could see that he was as excited as anxious, but Don and I both knew he was going to love it... once we got there.
"I am not patient. How long until we get there?" His hands were patting his knees in a nervous manner.
"Oh look. Here it is." Don chimed as I pulled into the parking lot of a recreation centre.
"What? Where? Who?" Cole frantically looked at his surroundings, only to find that he had no idea what we were doing... still.
"Okay. Let's get moving." Don told us. We all piled out of the van and walked into the red centre like a dysfunctional little family, which is what we were in our own little way.
Inside there was a balcony that overlooked the main area of the building. We were in that main area, until Don led us through a maze of hallways until we were there.
Standing in a room full of geeks.
Geeks with cameras, to be exact. Some of them were young, like us, and some were much older. There were mothers who needed an hour away from there kids, and old couples who were just dying something new. Nevertheless, Cole was there for many reasons, us being one of them.
"Welcome to photography class!" An artsy-looking man with messy brown hair and thick glasses greeted us. I assumed he was the teacher, and this was confirmed when he said, "You must be Cole. Glad to have you with us!"
"Thank you." Cole said suspiciously. Then his eyes met mine as they asked me for an answer.
"Merry Christmas!" I quietly cheered, hoping he could finally take the hint.
"Wait, you got me a photography class for Christmas? Is this real?" Clearly dumbfounded, Cole was suddenly looking around the room in a whole new way.
"No, we just came to the class so that you could watch people learn about photography. Yes you idiot, we got you a photography class." I rolled my eyes and looked at him like he was dumb, because he clearly was.
"Thank you so much!" He hugged Don, who was taken by surprise, but soon hugged back. Then he ran over to me and hugged me also, lifting me up off of the ground as he did so. People were starting to stare, but he was totally oblivious to that. I think he was so happy and thankful he didn't notice.
"You're welcome. We'll come back in about an hour to pick you up. Have fun!" Don waved goodbye after he had set me down, and so did I.
It was good to see passion in his eyes again.

We stopped at a little coffee place across from the hospital after we dropped Cole off at his house. He had an amazing time, which was good to see. It was also good to see the happiness he had when we told him the class was 6 weeks long.
And now it was just me and Don.
Yikes.
Both of us were still a little pissy about the whole suicide thing and then the medication thing and also the therapy thing. Really the only thing we weren't mad about was my friends, who she tended to like. Well I didn't know if she likes Whitley, but I was pretty sure she could like her if she wanted to.
