WARNING NOT EDITED SORRY!!
His hands were gripping my waist while his lips made their way from my mouth to my neck. Both his and my breaths were becoming heavier with each moment. His lips trailed down my neck and to my shoulder, which he uncovered and kissed, eventually making his way back to my mouth. But, oh god, it felt good. I didn't want it to stop, but I knew the only thing separating us from our family members was a thin wall with a door that was unlocked.
Then he pulled away from me and just looked at me. He looked at my face first, and examined my barely noticeable freckles, tracing them with his index finger. Next was my cheekbones, then my lips, which he kissed lightly before sitting up completely.
"What is it?" I sat up with him, wondering if I did something wrong.
"It's nothing." He shrugged, giving me a lazy smile.
"Are you sure? Because in my experience guys don't stop making out with a girl unless it's something important." Of course, I hadn't had very much experience, but I had enough to know that something was up.
"Well, I've always moved so fast, and I want to make this special because you're special. I just don't want to mess this up, you know? Because it's not that I don't want to go places with you, but I want it to be different, in a good way. Do you even vaguely know what I'm trying to get at?" Head down, with his eyes focused on me, he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"Yeah, I do. Thank you. If you want to go slow, we can go slow." I took his hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze.
"Thank you, really. I know it's cheesy, but I love you." He gave me the biggest grin that was equally genuine and mocking, yet it still made me smile.
"That's funny, cause I love you too." I leaned forward, lightly pecking him on the lips when I heard the door handle jiggle.
I sprung away from him so fast, yet it felt like slow motion. My aunt poked her head in and a smile instantly spread across her face. She knew. She may not have known much, but she knew something was up.
"Hey, we were just going to watch a movie in there, so I was just wondering if you made any plans yet?" She stayed at the door, not entering the room.
"Yeah actually, we were just going to go downtown for some drinks. Not alcoholic drinks, just like Shirley Temples or something." Cole quickly announced, which caused a very confused expression on my face, which puzzled Dawn.
She simply shrugged and said, "Okay, well you two have fun. There's money in the drawer. Rosemary, just call me from the restaurant that you go to and be back by one. Cole, I'll let your grandma know what the plan is."
"Thank you so much, Dawn." Cole gave her his signature, golden boy smile and a little wave. She then closed the door, leaving us alone once again.
"So, as I was going to ask you before I told you I loved you, would you like to go on a date with me?" He turned to me and asked.
"Well, seeing as how we already said I love you and made out, that sounds like a good idea." I casually said, which was odd because whenever it came to anything that had to do with human relationships, I was always at an unease.
"We shall be off, m'lady." He grabbed my leather jacket off of the desk chair and helped me into it. Then he proceeded to put his stupid letterman jacket on, which would usually despise, but I decided that if it made him happy, I wouldn't let my petty dislikes let me affect the sharing of happiness between us.
"Why thank you. Where will we be going this fine evening?" I played along, looping my arm through his.
"Neverland."
