It's not even a surprise this is isn't edited, is it?

It was Saturday. The last Saturday. His flight to New York was scheduled for the following Tuesday, but it might as well have been an hour away. Three days just seemed like such a small frame of time to wrap up something so colossal, so important to both of us. It was as if we had to fit a whole lifetime of experiences into these last three days. To sum it up, the feeling that I resonated with so deeply was the feeling of unfairness. Why? After we had both found someone who we grew to love and trust, was suddenly being ripped away from us? To say it plainly, it was simply unfair.
During the last few weeks, we hadn't had much time to see each other. Between him moving and saying his final goodbyes to the few people he was actually close to combined with final exams for school, no time was left for each other, which was also unfair. Studying, packing, taking tests... it was all he had time for. Of course, he had already taken his tests so accommodate for his departure date, so this was his last weekend devoted to do whatever he wanted to.
And he wanted to hang out with the people he had grown close to in the past year.
One of which was me.
So there we were. Juliette, Whitley, Fig, Callum, who brought Tristan along (because they were finally publicly dating), Ari (because we decided she was pretty cool), Cole, and me. Just sitting, sharing the few but memorable moments we had experienced together. They were all sad to see him leave, as was I. Then, in true Whitley fashion, she broke the mood and suggested we go on an adventure. So, in true Cole fashion, he pulled his camera out of his bag with a smile and it was settled.

"Move your arm out of the way. Wait no, move it back. Now just slightly move it. Nevermind, just drop it. Yes. YES." Cole directed Whitley, who twisted and adjusted as she was told, which I found ironic because she was not exactly the type to listen to anyone.
"You know, moving my arms isn't going to make me model material." She contorted and leaned against the building we were having a photoshoot beside.
"Well I can always try. Hey Ari, pop your collar a little." He told her, and she complied, shyly putting her hands to her collar and lifting it. "Perfect. Now smile, you can't hide behind your bangs forever." That made her giggle, and he snapped the picture.
Then his lens moved from Ari to Tristan, who was sitting on a yellow bar beside the building, laughing at something Callum said. Snap. Juliette, looking innocent but guilty with her bright hair and vibrant eyes. Snap. Fig, looking up at the sky while making his signature face; tongue out, smile prominent, eyes open. Snap. Callum, posing with his head down and shyness clear. Snap. Me, looking over at Cole when he called my name. Snap. All of us, laying in the grass, simply being teenagers. Snap. Breathing. Snap. Living. Snap. Loving. Snap. Existing. Snap.
Being.
Snap.
