I walked into the school and saw Drake, Milo, and Tristan standing in my way looking very disappointed.
"What was that?" Tristan asked, crossing his arms.
"What was what?" I played dumb.
"You were with that girl. Dude, she's not one of us. You have to end this." Drake answered.
"Nothing started. She's just a girl. But she is pretty hot, don't you think?" I had to think of some reason for my friends not to reject her.
"But she's a loser, misfit, a charity case. You can't go for her." Tristan tried to reason with me.
"C'mon guys. Tristan, did your parents say anything when you went out with a white girl?" Tristan was black, so I thought would bring this up.
"Well... No, but that doesn't have anything to do with this."
"Well they let you go for whoever you wanted, so I will go for whoever I want, thank you very much." and with that, I strode down the hallway, happy to have them off my back, at least for a little while.
