|Hayden's pov|

"We're going out to get some of our studying done. Our teachers have already checked in on us twice to make sure we've done something productive." Avery waved at the boys as she put her sunglasses on and opened the front door.
"Okay sparkles. Have fun rainbow." Ethan grinned cheekily at us. Since the incident two nights ago they came up with these charmingly witty nicknames. Note the sarcasm. Even though I just roll my eyes at them, as Avery does, I'm melting on the inside.

I like to think I've done a good job not going major creepy fangirl whilst in their presence. But sometimes I can't help myself. I find myself just staring at them or pictures of them around their apartment. I've walked into the 'by mistake' at least ten times. I feel as though I'm about to wake up at any minute but Avery slaps me (gently/playfully. Dw peps) to wake me up from my daydreaming and I'm back.

"Oh, when we get back we'll come and collect our stuff, the owner called to tell me our apartment should be ready by this afternoon." She ruffled her blonde hair, moving it to one side.
"Oh, okay."Grayson's eyes lingered on her as she turned around, opening the front door. I gave him a funny look, my gaze moving onto Ethan who also seemed focuses on her retreating figure.

I couldn't help but feel envious towards my unknowing guy magnet of a best friend. I mean come on, I've been fangirling over them for the past few months. I'm the one that stayed up lat tweeting them every Tuesday night. I'm the one that's dreamt about meeting them for ages, not Avery!

She doesn't even try. She just needs to walk into a room and every boy is drooling, flexing and trying to get a good look at her.
It's not strange to be jealous of your best friend. In fact every pair of best friends I know has one that's jealous of the other.

Avery is the kind of pretty girl that genuinely doesn't know it. She's more of a tomboy but enjoys going on big shopping trips and talking about boys till the middle of the night. Her hips sway when she walks and her hair bounces effortlessly down to her waist.

She doesn't even need makeup. I myself prefer not to wear makeup anyway. I have enough problems, acne is not one I want to add to my list.
But she manages to apply everything perfectly. I bet you any money she could do her eyeliner in her sleep. And to make matters worse she doesn't even get spots. It's like she wants me to hate her.

Ethan's eyes connected with mine. I didn't want to look away, I didn't even feel awkward. I was fine staring at him whilst he stared at me and Grayson stared at Avery but she wanted to ruin it. Who invited her again?

"Come on Hayd, we have to go now so we can see as much as possible." I blinked multiple times, snapping out of my daze.
"Avery we have six months here." I whined, picking up my bag from on the table.
"Fine but when we're in the airport ready to leave don't you dare complain to me that you didn't see as much as you wanted to." She turned around, giving me a look.
"Okay fine, go. Bye boys, see you later." I waved at them, breathing heavily when the door shut.

"Hayden they're just boys. You need to stop going so crazy over them." Avery wiggled her perfectly shaped eyebrows at me, an amused look masking her features.
"I have a right to when they're that good looking." I pushed off of the door, following her down the hallway.
"Touché. They are quite scrumptiously divine looking." She made her posh British accent stand out as she quoted her mother from about five years ago when we'd made cupcakes. I laughed lightly at the memory, trying not to feel too homesick.

"Got it!" I looked up from my notepad just in time to see Avery jump up and down in victory, clutching her camera as she continued to walk down the long, empty road. When she turned back to look at me she saw me concentrated on my own work. "Hayden, what you got there?" She pushed her sunglasses to the top of her head, walking towards me.

"Nothing." I slammed the notebook shut, holding it as tight as humanly possible.
"Come on, you never talk about you. Sometimes we need to have a break from me, I'm boring." I sighed, that's a lie. She's the opposite of boring.
"I just like to keep myself to myself, you know that." I looked down at the book in my hands, avoiding her eyes.

"That doesn't mean I don't want to know." She turned back around and continued walking, I followed suit. "I have to ask because one day you'll start to think I don't care, and if you think I don't care you won't want to be friends. I don't want that Hayden Stoney, I really don't."

I have to say, although I complain about the perfectness of her fe and body all the time, deep conversations with Avery are the best. She always knows the right thing to say and she always seems to know what people are feeling.

"Let's get back, I got some good pictures, we always have tomorrow." Sounds like a plan Avery Wells, sounds like a plan.

So it was about ten past midnight when there was a knock on our apartment door. Avery and I were, lucky, both still up. We'd taken refuge on the couch, wanting to have a movie marathon.
It was all Avery's idea. She could tell I was getting homesick and we have these movie nights all the time at home.

"I'll get it." I whispered, scrambling up from under the blanket and rubbing my eyes. Avery yawned, propping herself up on her elbows so she could see who was at the door.

"We figured you missed us so... We bought food!" Avery groaned at the loud shouting and the light coming into the room from the hall.

Did Ethan and Grayson Dolan miss us?!
