|Avery's pov|
Every time one of us would suggest going out, the other would make up stupid excuses against the idea. We were both utterly terrified of facing more 'fans'. Not because we couldn't stand up for themselves but because their mouths didn't seem to have filters. They didn't care how harmful the comment they were making was, to them the more harmful the better. It's sickening.
However on one particular Hayden seemed to have gotten over her fears of possibly facing these wretched teenage girls.
"Come on Avery, we might not even see any of them. And if we do, what's the chances of them recognising us?" I was moping around the apartment in my pyjamas, glancing out the large window in the living room at the busy streets of London.
"You may have gotten over it but it's not that easy for me Hayden. Just (I literally just wrote nuts by mistake then started laughing my head off at it.) leave it, okay?" Raising my voice, I threw my hands in the air in exasperation.
"I don't understand why. They barely even targeted you, you're like this when that's all they said? I'd hate to know how annoying you'd be if they ever commented on your stomach, or your slightly large forehead. Or how about the way you act so incredibly stupid when you're talking to people, especially Grayson." When she'd finished my jaw was clenched tightly. Guilt filled her eyes and she went to speak, I'm assuming to apologise, but I put my hand up to stop her. She just made fun of my biggest insecurities, the things she knows get to me most.
I didn't say anything to her as I went to my room, got my car keys and left. I didn't even know where I was going but she seriously hit a nerve.
Arriving at my parents manor I waited for the gates to open and drove down the long path, parking on the gravel surrounding the large fountain, I got out of my car.
"I'm home." I murmured to myself, going to my old room and crying myself to sleep. Some best friend.
•time skip (1 month. I'm sorry, I know)•
Hayden tried to call once or twice, occasionally sending texts but I wasn't having any of it. The boys had just landed in England and their show in London was tonight and I was assuming Hayden was going by herself. It was a shame, mainly because it was my idea and I bought the tickets.
So, I laid on my old bed, stalking Hayden on all social media platforms. Call me pathetic but I was sat here, one arm out the window as it rained heavily, too lazy to get up and turn the light off in my en suite bathroom. It was annoying me, the only thing stopping me from being submerged in darkness, my true habitat.

I contemplated messaging Avery again, asking if she still wanted to come. But I figured if she didn't answer all the other times in the past month I'd tried to talk to her, then she wouldn't answer now. She always was the more stubborn of the two of us.
I sighed, pulling on my black leggings and the jumper of Ethan's that I stole from him before I left. That should get them fan girls going, aye? My thoughts moved back to the argument with Avery. I shook my head rapidly, thinking about seeing the boys to not get my mood down on today of all days.
Soon enough I'd arrived and the show started. I couldn't contain my laughter as I watched them jumping around on stage, just being their goofy selves.
When the time for meet and greets rolled around I felt more regretful about what I'd said to Avery than ever. I was selfish to come here with with Avery. She'd bought the damn tickets. She should be here, not me.
The line got shorter and shorter until finally...
"Hey beautiful." I kept my head down as I hugged Grayson, moving onto Ethan after.
"Hey." I replied, trying to sound like a shy fangirl."Hayden?!" I was pulled into Ethan, my laugh filling the air as my arms wrapped around his neck.
"Hey bup." I kissed his cheek, knowing that having a make-out session with him in front of all of his fans would really get them going.I looked to Grayson, expecting more of a greeting now that he was aware of who I was but he was looking out to the crowd of waiting fans, I knew who he was searching for.
"I'm sorry Grayson, something happened and she didn't come. You can see her later though, I'll give you her mums address." He looked beyond disappointed, I only hoped it didn't ruin the experience for the rest of the fans.
He didn't respond. After Ethan and I exchanged glances I greeted Alex and let them get on with meeting the rest of the fans.

"Avvy, someone's here for you." My mum called from downstairs, she's lucky I was on my way downstairs because I wouldn't have heard her. Sometimes living in a massive house isn't as amazing as everyone seems to think it is.
"Coming." I grumbled, tying my hair in a ponytail. I haven't left my room in the last month, apart from to get food. I had an en suite so I was sorted for that.
My face was healthier because I haven't worn any makeup, not that I usually do anyway.
I wore the grey jumper Grayson gave me when we left to come home because it's baggy and warm and still smells like him. I sound creepy, right? Also sporting a pair of vintage tube socks and my black top shop runners shorts."Gray?!" When I saw him standing there, hair and clothes damp from the rain, I jumped on him, "I've missed you so much Grayson." And then I started crying. His arms around me tightened and I heard him asking my mum where my room is. She must be confused because I hadn't really talked to her about having a boyfriend. My mother and I aren't very close.
"What's wrong?" He asked once my door was shut, laying me down on my bed he laid next to me.
"It's Hayden. She was s-so mean. I was meant to be there today. It was my fu-fudging idea, Grayson. And she had the audacity to go, with the tickets that were bought with my money." Great sobs shook my body as I dropped onto him."What happened?" He smoothed out my messy hair, wiping away my tears.
"She's a bitch."A/N woooooow getting a bit heated now.
