Never Leave My Side (A Niall Horan Story)

Today is the day! I'm not really sure when we fell asleep, but I know it wasn't before three in the morning. I woke up looking at the clock. Nine in the morning, this could be fun. I sat up, looking around. Am I really the last one awake?

I get up off the couch, stretching a little, walking out of the game room. The smell of bacon welcoming me down the stairs, into the kitchen. Da was at the stove making breakfast, singing away to who knows what. Tori and Hannah were already at the table, all smiles. Sometimes, they feel more like sisters to me. I smile sitting next to them.

Da puts the breakfast on the table sitting across from me. We ate in silence, enjoying the quiet and the bacon. All of us were still waking up I suppose. Of course da's cooking did the trick. Or maybe it was just the bacon.

"What time are we heading up there?" I asked, to no one in particular.

Da answered thinking for a minute. "I think noon should be okay. There's already a small crowd. Better get there before it gets bigger." He suggests.

"That actually sounds like a great idea. Good thinking, Jake!" Tori says, eating her last piece of bacon.

"Yeah. I totally agree. Good job Jay." Hannah say, drinking the last of her milk.

"Noon it is then!" I shouted, standing up. I started to gather the dishes with da, and put them into the dishwasher. "I'll meet you guys upstairs." I said to Tori and Hannah, leaving the kitchen.

It was eleven o'clock and we were just finished getting ready. We went down to the living room where da was watching TV. "How do we look?" I asked as we paced the living room, as if we were models on a catwalk.

"Absolutely stunning. All three of you." He said clapping. He looked at his watch, then back to us. "Shall we get this show on the road then?" He asked smiling.

The drive wasn't very long. Which was great. We got a great place in the line, it wont take long when we get to go in. Da helped us unpack the things we were going to use for camping out, and will be back the day of to pick it up.

Day one was cake. We had an amazing time. And even met a few other girls, McKayla, Nicki, and Jennifer. They don't live in town, but they got here this morning. More people showed up in the middle of the night. Everyone seems so excited and happy, it's great. I'll miss hanging out with everyone when we stand up to go in.

We were in the middle of a game when I hear my name being called. I look up, not seeing anyone. I go back to my game, and hear my name again. This time I stand up, and look across the street.

Oh, it's Daniel. I wave at him and tell him to come over. I wait as he runs across the street and grabs me in a hug. "Hey. How long have you been here?" He asked.

Tori and Hannah turn around, standing up. "We've been here since yesterday, around noon. This is my friend Tori," I said pointing to my left. He waves, "and this is my friend Hannah," I said pointing to my right. He looks ar her and just smiles. "Ladies, this is my friend Daniel. He's Danielle's son, well one of them." I said introducing them. "Where's Dem?" I asked Daniel.

Daniel broke his gaze from Hannah to look at me. "He isn't feeling well." Daniel said looking back at Hannah, who undoubtedly was blushing. "Hello beautiful. How are you?" Daniel asks, the smile returning to his face.

I hear Tori say, "awe, that's so cute" really quietly, sitting back down with me.

"I'm fine. Sapphire has told us about you." Hannah says.

"Oh really?" He replies, looking behind her at me for a brief second.

"Yeah, says you're nothing but trouble." Hannah said. I couldn't keep myself from laughing.

I stopped laughing when I felt Daniel looking at me. "Ouch. That hurt. I thought we had something special Sapphire." He said pretending to be upset.

"Awe. Poor baby. You'll be alright." I said laughing at him again.

"I'm not a bad person. I'm actually really awesome." Daniel said, looking at Hannah again.

This was too good to resist, and before I could stop myself, I said, "yeah. If you ask his mum." Tori and I just busted out laughing. Hannah even chuckled too.

"That's it! Come here!" Daniel yelled, sitting on me trying to crush me. It didn't work. Everyone was laughing now. We could barely breathe.

Daniel stayed to hang out with us, which no one seemed to mind. He and Hannah talked a lot, and seemed to hit it off really well. Tori and I hope that she sees there is way better than Jeremy. And Tori and I actually approve of Daniel for her. He will treat her like a princess. We know it.
