2 Weeks Later

*Sapphire's POV*

“Da! I'm going to go shopping with Danielle today." I shouted through the house.

“Okay! Any idea when you will be home?" He asked loudly.

Where is he even at? “No! But I will text you and let you know!"

“Okay! Have fun!" He yelled.

I grabbed my phone while slipping my shows on. “Love you!" I yelled, walking towards the door.

I waited for his reply before leaving. “Love you too, Sweetheart!"

I smiled to myself as I left the house, Danielle already waiting for me in the driveway.

“Hey." She greeted as I got in and buckled up.

I gave her a small smile. “How are you?" I asked as she drove away from my house.

“Pretty great actually. Dustin and I's anniversary is coming up soon. Soon as in Friday. We aren't sure what we are doing yet, but we will figure something out. How's Jake?" She asked.

“He's good." I nodded. “Asks a few questions here and there, but he's good. Crazy as always." I chuckled.

She laughed while picking up her phone that had just started to ring. “Hello?"

I tuned out her conversation and pulled my own phone out, sending a quick text to Niall.

To Niall: “Hey you! I hope you have a good day today, I miss you. Can't wait to see you. Xx"

“You okay?" Danielle asked, putting her phone down. “You seem upset."

“I'm fine. Just miss Niall. That's all." I assured her.

She nodded while we found the nearest spot to the door. “Ready?" She smiled, getting out of the car.

I followed her and we walked towards the mall. To be fair, shopping had never been my thing, but Danielle insisted we spend the day together. I had to agree of course, I can't just say “no" to Danielle. The boys won't go shopping with her.

I felt my phone buzz in my pocket while we walked into the doors. I pulled my phone out to read my text while Danielle decided where to go first.

From Niall: “Hey! You too. We have another interview today. Seems like we have one every day. Ha! I miss you more though. I'll call you later, love. Liam will go crazy if he finds out I'm not ready to go yet. I love you. Xx"

I smiled and  typed up a quick reply.

To Niall: “Good luck today. You guys will be amazing. I love you as well. Xx"

“Thanks for shopping with me today. I would've never be able to drag the boys through all of those stores." She laughed.

I laughed with her while grabbing my few bags. “No problem. I had a great time." I smiled at her. “Looking forward to or next shopping trip together already."

“Me too!" She yelled. “Bye, love."

I shut the door and waved as I walked to the front door. “Da! I'm home!" I yelled walking in.

“Hey! Come to the kitchen!" He yelled back.

I set my bags down by the door and slipped my shoes off. I walked into the living room and stopped when I heard a familiar voice in the kitchen. “No." I whispered.

I walked quickly and stopped in the door way. My mouth hung half open as I looked at the two very familiar people I haven't seen in years. “Hello dear."

I took a second to collect myself. “Maura!!" I ran to her and threw my arms around her. “How have you been?" I asked quickly.

I pulled away and walked over to hug Bobby. “Hey. How are you, Sapphire?" He asked, hugging me back.

I pulled back and smiled at both of them. “I'm great. I've missed you guys so much."

“Awe." Niall's mum smiled. “Come here, you."

I smiled and made my way back to her, putting my arms around her again. Her hugs are still as motherly as I remember.

*Niall's POV*

“We have time for one more question." Liam said with a smile. “How about this nice lady in the front." He said, pointing to a lady in a blue shirt.

“Thank you." She smiled. “Uh, Niall." She said, looking at me.

I gave her a short smile. “Yes ma'am?"

“How's your girlfriend's father recovering?" She asked.

I shook my head. No questions about her life. “Sorry, I'm not to answer that. All of that is personal. Do you gave another question?" I offered.

She nodded but turned her attention to Louis instead. It seems like everyone just wants to know everything about Sapphire's life, which they won't get anything from me. I know she loves her privacy, and I won't be the one to rob her of that.

“That's all the time we have everyone. Thank you so much for having us." Liam announced.

We ask said a “thank you" as we left the small stage they had set up for us. The smiles never left as we walked out of the building, met by hundreds of fans asking for an autograph or picture. We got as many as we could on the way to the range rovers waiting for us.

I climbed into the second vehicle and sat back with a sigh. “You alright, mate?" Zayn asked, climbing in behind me and closing the door.

“Yeah." I nodded. “Just tired." I leaned back in my seat as the car began to drive slowly through the crowd. “I miss home." I said honestly.

“Me too, Niall... Me too." He said, patting my leg.

I pulled my phone out once we got away from the crowd of screaming people and dialed my mum's number.

“Calling home?" Zayn smile, pulling out his own phone.

I nodded, “hello, love." My Mum's cheery voice came a split second later.

“Hey mum." I couldn't help but smile hearing her voice again. “How are you?" I asked.

“Oh, I'm great. Just relaxing a bit with some tea." She said. “And how about you?"

I sigh and took a deep breath. “I'm okay. Just so tired, and I'm really missin' home." I admitted to her.

“Do you want me to call later so you can get some rest?"

I looked over at Zayn who was taping away on his phone. “Actually, we aren't to the hotel yet, we just finished an interview. I want to call Sapphire when we get back. Haven't talked to her since earlier today."

I heard Zayn sigh an “awe" quietly, and chuckling when I blushed. I shoved him with my shoulder, causing him to fill the car with laughter. “You should probably get off the phone, we're about to the hotel." Zayn warned me.

I took a deep breath and let it out with a sigh. “Well, I have to go, mum. I'll call you tomorrow." I said as we pulled up to the hotel. “I love you, mum."

“I love you too, Niall. Get some sleep." She said motherly.

I mentally rolled my eyes before hanging up the phone. “Ready?" Zayn asked as security and bodyguards surrounded the two vehicles.

“As ready as I'll ever be today." I sighed, stepping out of the car behind him.
