four: it all falls down

Serenity POV:

I couldn't believe what I seen in front of me. Erica was right in front of me with a little girl who looked about Tremonte age and she looked like my kids. This was just too much. So I screamed at the top of my lungs without even realizing what was coming out.

"Baby calm down." I felt Monte grab me up. He walked me to the couch and sat me down. He was talking to me but I didn't hear anything he was saying.

Then I heard Erica's familiar voice clear as day. Even through her cracked her voice. She was crying.

"Look I'm sorry but I can't do this anymore. I know I lied but I can't do this." You could hear her running away until she reached a car, slammed the door & I could hear the car speeding away.

I could hear my husband screaming all type of things. "Come in baby girl."

The little girl came in. I looked up and looked at Monte so hard. We were staring each other down in distraught.

I then looked at the little girl & tried to pull it together. "Hey beautiful what's your name?" I sat close to her.

"Emoni." She said softly. She looked like my kids. All three of them & it just killed my soul.

"That's so pretty baby. Well listen tomorrow we'll go shopping and get you some clothes but tonight I'll give you some of my nieces sleep wear, okay babe?" She nodded her head.

I stood up to head to the bathroom when Monte grabbed for my arm and I snatched away quickly.

"Not now please, just not now." I was crying uncontrollably. I walked into the bathroom and I just broke down. I decided to call my sisters.

3 Way Call

Ari & Nes: Hello

Me: I need one of you guys to pick me up now. It's a SOS.

Ari: Baby where you at? You home?

Me: Yes, please hurry.

Nes: We on our way. Stay tight Ren.

I got off the phone and everything seemed like it was closing in on me. I fell to the floor and felt like I couldn't breathe.

"Serenity baby." Everything went black.

Monte POV:

I heard a thud in the bathroom. "Serenity baby." I called out for her but she didn't answer. "Ren."

I tried opening the door but it was locked. I started pushing the door & screaming her name. "Ren! Come on open the door."

I heard someone opening the front door so I stopped. In walked Ari & Nes. "Where's Ren?" Ari came at me with attitude.

"I heard a thud after she went into the bathroom. I been knocking and punching on the door but no response."

"Maybe she just doesn't wanna talk to you. I have the spare key to the bathroom. Let us go in there okay." I just shook my head & walked away from the door. I sat in the kitchen as they unlocked the door.

"Ren!" I heard Nes screaming. I jumped up and ran into the restroom. My baby was laid out on the floor unconscious. I picked her head up.

"Baby!" She didn't answer me. "Call 911 Ari." I looked up to see her shaking. "Now!"

She pulled out her phone and Nes snatched it from her and called them. "The ambulance is on its way Monte."

Meanwhile @ the Carter House

Raheem POV:

"So you not gone talk to me Chelle?" She was relaxing, taking a bubble bath.

"Now you wanna talk? How about this why don't you go to your club go smoke with your niggas and fuck one of your stripper employees." She sighed. It just pissed me off.

"What the fuck did you just say?" I stood up, pissed.

She stood up butt ass naked out the tub. I couldn't help but look at her body. "You heard what the fuck I said Raheem go to your dumb ass club. That's the love of your life so take yo ass there. I'm home tonight because the kids miss me not you." She was standing there with her hands on her hips waiting for me to challenge her.

"What the fuck?!" Is all that came at my mouth.

She stepped out the tub, grabbed her towel & tried to walk past me but I snatched her little ass up.

"Let go of me. You done trying, so am I." She was forreal pissed. I pulled her into my chest & she started crying.

"Aye, aye Chelle. Stop crying baby. I'm not doing anything you're saying yo chill." She tried pulling away from me again. I pulled her back into my chest & held her tighter. "Chelle calm down forreal." She relaxed in my arms.

"Are you cheating on me Rah? Like why you den switched up on me? Why we argue all the time now? I just missed you Rah that's all." She was crying softly, wetting up my shirt.

"Baby I'm not cheating on you. Come on what I look like? No, listen I don't know where this arguing came from but when it hit I just felt better at my club so we wouldn't argue. That didn't help cause I been drinking & smoking." I picked her up and walked into the bedroom and sat on the bed with her wrapped around me.

She looked me in my eyes looking afraid. "I'm sorry. After Khalil I don't know what happen to us Chelle. Like we ain't seeing eye to eye baby & we better than that." I kissed her forehead then her perfect button nose. "I ain't going nowhere."

She smiled a bit. "I wouldn't let you even if you tried."
