You already saw this. But, let's recap. Connor went back to the cash register, Eris followed. Connor calls out Kian and JC.
CONNOR
Hey guys! I would like you to meet Eris, your head barista. She just got back from Harvard, so don't try to make her head hurt.
Connor points at JC.
CONNOR
This is my friend, JC.
Eris holds out her hand to shake JC's.
JC
What's up? I'm JC, nice meeting you.
ERIS
Eris. I'm good, thank you.
CONNOR (points at Kian)
And this is Kian.
Kian wasn't paying attention to Connor, so he assumed that he's daydreaming.
ERIS (slightly confused at Kian, holds out her hand)
Hey, Kian.
Connor snaps out Kian, notices that this might cause trouble once they admit their relationship.
KIAN
Oh, sorry. Hey!
Kian shakes Eris' hand and takes a while to let it go.
ERIS
You can let go of my hand now.
KIAN (lets go of Eris' hand)
Oh, sorry.
Kian wipes his sweaty hand on his apron.
Connor doesn't like what he saw, but he didn't overthink so he didn't react violently to it.
