XII. INT. COFFEE SHOP. DAY.
Kian remembered the first time he laid eyes on Eris. He can't take his eyes off her. She was everything he's looking for in a girl---smart, funny, goal-oriented, plus a nice body. Kian sees Eris as his girlfriend material.
JC snaps him out.
JC
Hey! You're daydreaming!
Kian slaps his own face.
KIAN
I was?
Connor claps his hands loudly, calling the attention of both of them.
CONNOR (getting frustrated at Kian and JC)
Guys! We've got customers! Please get back to work.
Kian and JC went back to talking, disregarded Connor.
KIAN (asking JC)
What should I do to get closer to Eris?
JC (scratching his head)
Hmmm... you should hang out at the barista station a lot.
KIAN
But, all we do here is wait tables?
JC
Why don't you tell Connor that you wanna learn how to brew coffee? He's going to be impressed if you take the initiative to learn.
KIAN
Right... Thanks man!
Kian pats JC's back and goes to the cashier. JC goes back to cleaning the tables.
