Lila's POV

"Lila! We are going to be late!" Ana yelled.

"Geez, I'm coming!" I said sitting up.

You must be wondering why Ana is here this early for school. When I fractured my wrist Eleanor has been acting weird. I don't know why. Wait, we skipped it? I didn't tell you what happened them three weeks ago? Oh. Well here ya go!

*FLASHBACK*

"Broken..." Ana said. Mandy's eyes went wide, I gulped, and Harry let out a loud sob, while Ana was trembling.

"W-what? It can't be fractured?" I asked.

"But it is," Ana said.

"But, Harry isn't that strong! He couldn't have done that!" I say.

Mandy scrunched up her eyebrows, "Erm...are you a vampire?" She asked Harry. He didn't respond.

"No, he's not," Ana said.

"Well, ya know, cause in Twilight, Edward was very strong," Mandy whispers.

"Mandy! Get serious! We can't let Louis find out," I say.

This makes Ana a little upset.

"What? You're worried about Louis finding out? Lila, if you don't get to the hospital in time, they just might have to remove your hand! Forever..." She said.

I gasped then Harry cried even more. I began to cry with him.

"I'm so sorry!" Harry screamed.

"It's okay Harry," I said.

"Let's go! I'll drive," Mandy said grabbing Harry's car keys.

"Ms. Lila Tomlinson?" The nurse called. I stood up. We have been in the waiting room forever! Ana, Mandy, Harry, and I make our way to the nurse.

"Sorry, family only," The nurse said. Ana, Harry, and Mandy all turn on their heel, but I grip Harry's arm.

"But he is family," I say.

"Relationship?" The nurse asks.

"Erm...brother," I state. Technically, we aren't related, but my mom took him in so..yeah.

"Okay," the nurse said, "Doctor Polanski should be here soon.

-Moments Later-

"Hello, I'm Dr. Polanski!" the female said.

"Hello," I say.

"Hi," Harry says. What? Harry is known for saying something flirtatious like 'Hello love, you look beautiful' or something.

"We ran a few tests on Ms. Tomlinson." Doctor says.

"So..." Harry mumbles.

"So, Lila, has a disease, a rare one, in this case her bones are very fragile and can be easily broken. We are very very surprised Lila wasn't born in this condition." The Doc said.

"Oh," I say.

"How did this come to be then?" Harry asked, confusion swept over his face.

Dr. Polanski sighs, "We're there any abusive people around you when you were younger? If you are hit in the wrong place right below your ribs, it will cause your bone marrow to malfunction. It will stop the growth snd nothing really can protect it," She says.

Me and Harry exchange worried glances, "Uh...I used to self harm," I say at the same time Harry says, "I used to hit her,"

My eyes widen as the doctor's does also.
