Partners In Crime

TOBYS POV

Why did Spencer have to be Kat's best friend, and my enemy. We didn't used to be like this. We used to be partners in crime. But never again.

It was two years ago when I still worked as a cop. Me and Spencer were partners and we had to go check out a house because it was broken into. Me and Spencer got stuck in a sticky situation, we were surrounded by men with guns. They told us to choose which one would die first. Spencer shoved me into one of the men and got me shot in the leg. He escaped and ran to the cruiser. And left me. He came back an hour later for me after all the men were done beating me. I was bruised. Bleeding. And going in and out of consciousness. He could have kept me from being beat if he would have grew a pare and shot the men. We kept lots of guns in the trunk of the cruiser. He was more than capable of shooting them. But he didn't. He chose to let me get beat up. shot. And ever since then I haven't spoken to him. or seen those men.

I was laying on my bed when I heard Kat scream. I ran downstairs to the living room to see her on the floor with a gun pointed to her head.

"What the hell are you doing man!?" I yelled at Spencer.

"Let us go." He said. his hands were shaky. He was nervous.

"Kat doesn't want to leave." I smirked. I walked over to Kat and picked her up. She looked up at me with worried eyes.

"Well I do. let me go." Spencer said.

"I will give you twenty four hours to find your way back to civilization. If you make it. your free. And if you don't. you will be dead before I find you." Spencer let the gun fall to the floor. He walked out of the room and into his bedroom.

"Thank you." Kat said rapping her arms around me.

"I didn't do-" I was cut off by her kissing me. This was the first time she had kissed me. After a few seconds she pulled away.

"Yes you did." She said taking my hand, she led me to our bedroom. We lay there for a while making out. I feel like a teenager again. It was perfect.

Then Spencer walked in.
