Cas moved in with Gabriel and was forced back into life. He tried to call Dean a few times, but he didn't pick up. So he gave up. If he thought that was bad enough; he had to go back to school and take the big final which he hadn't studied at all for. The stress felt like it was suffocating him. He didn't get any sleep Sunday night because he was studying so much. Monday morning seemed like it couldn't come any faster.

That morning, Cas got dressed and went to school which felt incredibly surreal. It felt like it had been forever since he had gone to school. And it didn't get any easier once he showed up there.

Gabriel dropped him off in front of the school and ruffled his already messy hair. "Good luck, little bro. You'll do fine."

Cas gave his brother a weak smile and got out of the car. The moment he got to school, nobody would leave him the fuck alone. He was called a faggot every other minute and shoved into lockers countless times.

"What happened to your hair, fag? Is that sex hair from your sleepless nights with Winchester?" someone cackled. "Or is that stress hair cause he broke up with you when he saw how small your dick is?"

Cas shoved past the group of kids yelling at him as he made his way to the library. He found a seat and the tests were passed out. Cas could barely think. He was exhausted and his mind felt like it had been completely fried.

The test felt unbearably slow, but they were let out an hour later for a break. Cas dragged his feet out of the library and he went into the boys bathroom to splash some cold water on his face. The moment he walked in, he was overwhelmed with the smile of smoke.

"Put it out! Someone's here!" a voice hissed from one of the stalls.

Cas stopped in his tracks and peered through the little crack into the stall.

"The hell do you want?"

"Is that...?"

"If you tell anyone, we'll fuckin' kill you."

Cas hesitated. "If..." he sighed. "I won't tell anyone if you share." He need some kind of release, a way to calm himself down.

The stall door slowly opened to reveal someone that he thought was Balthazar or something along those lines. The second person was Anna which caught Cas completely off guard. Anna rose her eyebrows when she saw Cas.

"Cas? You're the last person I would have thought would want weed."

"Anna...? What are you doing in the boy's bathroom?"

Anna's face flushed red. "Shut up, Castiel or we aren't gonna share."

"You know this kid?" Balthazar asked.

Anna nodded. "Yeah, he's a friend of mine. Give him some, he obviously needs it." Her eyes looked Cas up and down from his wrinkled clothes to the dark bags under his eyes.

Balthazar shrugged and handed it to Cas who breathed it in. It was the greatest he'd felt since Jess died. Since he and Dean were okay.

"You like it?" Anna asked.

Cas sighed and nodded happily. Balthazar smiled a little as he stared Cas down.

After Cas's break from the test, he went back to the library. He was the first one to finish it which earned him some more free time. He went outside to get some fresh air where he found Balthazar and Anna sitting and smoking some more pot.
