something in the way she moves

School for Cas was always a living nightmare, especially around the Christmas season when he was forced to take a million 'very important tests' which he just had to study for. In the months of November and December, he spent all of his time in the library studying his ass off before going home to study his ass off some more.

And that's exactly what he was doing; locking himself up in his room with all of his books and notes, listening to Fall Out Boy as loud as it could go--but of course he muted it whenever they swore or else his father would murder his ass.

Cas had just started studying Chemistry when his friend Anna texted him.

'killer party tonight. wanna come?'

Cas sighed and rolled his eyes. Anna was always trying to convince him to go to parties or something incredibly rebellious such as that. He would be okay with her doing all of it if she didn't go to church with him every Sunday, but at the same time he understood.

'can't, studying. sorry'

Cas sent the text and went back to reading over the periodic table all over again before his phone buzzed again.

'lame. you've been studying nonstop for the last 6 weeks. please?'

Cas hesitated before sending her his 'still a no' message. It would be nice to party for a while and loosen up. His head would most likely explode if he didn't take a break. He stood up and peaked out of his bedroom door to hear his dad fighting with Lucifer again, as per usual. Lucifer would likely be moving out soon; he was old enough by now at twenty five years old.

Since his dad was fighting with Lucifer again, Cas doubted that he would notice that he disappeared. He turned back to his phone and texted Anna back.

'okay fine i'll come. meet me one block away from my house.'

Cas turned down his music a little so that his dad wouldn't hear the swearing but still loud enough that it sounded like Cas was still in his room studying. Then he climbed out of his window into the backyard. He climbed over the fence into his backdoor neighbor's backyard and went out to the street. Anna was there in no time.

Anna pulled up next to him and opened the passenger seat door for him. Cas hopped in and buckled up while internally freaking out. This was one of the first rebellious thing he'd ever done and he wasn't used to the feeling of fear and excitement combined.

"Ready?" Anna grinned excitedly at him. She looked amazing; her red hair was curled as usual but she was wearing a tight, short, black dress and her makeup was a lot heavier than usual. Her smile practically lit up the car.

Cas took in a deep breath before nodding.

Anna's grin widened and started driving. They pulled up to a massive house, flashing lights poured out of the windows and you could hear the loud music from a mile away. Cas stared wide-eyed at the house and his heartbeat started to pick up speed. This was a terrible idea. What the hell was he thinking?

"Let's go!" Anna jumped out of the car and started walking up to the house. She paused a little while down the sidewalk and looked back at him. Anna rolled her eyes and walked back over to the car, opening the door again. "C'mon, Castiel, don't be a chicken."

"My father's going to kill me." Cas told her seriously.

"He'll never know that you even left. I promise. Let's go!"

"But..." Cas stared at the house with wide eyes. "This isn't really my... my style."

Anna rolled her eyes again. "Please, Cas! I'm begging you! Can you please just do me this one solid? I promise that I'll help you study for the rest of the weeks leading up to Christmas. Okay?"
