Chapter 1

Somewhere in the hotel of Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York, Alexis Isabella Wilson, 23, was standing in front of her bedroom suite mirror putting in her diamond studded earrings, and looking at her deep blue gown to make sure everything was in place. She touched her long black hair that was up into a bun by the hair-salon downstairs.  She was making sure it looked great and a blue flower clip that her mother gave her to wear for tonight.

She looks down to see an invitation on her dresser beside her purse, and picking it up to read it one more time.  She smiled looking at an attached small picture of this young man named Kevin Jonas and his soon-to-be-wife Danielle.  They were getting married today, and surprisingly she got the invitation from their mother and a letter explaining what was going on with her brother’s life, and the other three younger brothers.

“Alex?” she heard, and turned to see her boyfriend of two years standing in the doorway of their joint rooms in his black suit, with a dark blue silk tie to go with her dress.  “How do I look?”

Alex smiled, “Awesome as always.”  She put the invitation and picture back on her dresser, and went over to Michael Parker to admire him.  “Just relax.  It’s just my brother’s wedding.”

“But you’ve never met them before.  I want to impress them.”

He was right.  This was her first time ever meeting them.  Their mother Denise was going to pull them all to the side after the wedding to meet each other.  Alex was adopted just a year after she was born. Denise and Paul just couldn’t afford to take care of her at the time, but they agreed that when she was ready, she would be told who her real parents were.   When she was thirteen she wanted to know, so her parents contact Denise saying that Alex wanted to know, and soon the letters and pictures started; then home movies. Alex would just smile and cry every time she would watch wishing that she was apart of that family again, but she wasn’t their child anymore.  She was now a Wilson, not a Jonas. She asked before Christmas one time if she could come back, but Denise told her that the boys wouldn’t understand. But one day, when Denise was ready to tell the boys, she would make sure about it.

Of course Alex got pictures, magazines, many interviews, and all of the albums that her brothers came out with.  When she was down, she would put one of the albums in her CD player, and imagine that the guys were in her room giving her a personal concert, or they were with her when she really needed to talk to someone.  She did go to their concerts when she could, but she never told Denise where her seats were. She was a few times front row, or near the VIP, but she didn’t care.  She was there to listen to her brothers, and saw a glace of her family when they were there in the VIP.

So this was it.  She was going to be seeing them finally, after twenty-three years.  She felt like a chip fell off her shoulder, or the fan inside her was going to come out.

            “ALEX!” Mike yelled at her.

Alex snapped back to the room, and blushed, “Sorry, just remembering how long it’s been for this moment.”
