Chapter 7

After they were bored playing, Danielle, Demi, and Alex went to go change Alex’s shirt before it was time for the show to beginning.

As Alex was behind a curtain changing her shirt, Danielle went over to the curtain.

“Alex?  I noticed that your eyes were puffy when you came back from your phone call.  Are you okay?  Is everything alright?” she asked.

Demi agreed, “I was going to ask you too.”

Alex froze after she put on a purple shirt with a few flowers on it, and sighed, “Yea, everything is fine.”  She didn’t want to bother her issues with her family.  Not now, this was her brothers’ night, not hers.

She came out from behind the curtain and put her shirt in a tote bag that Denise put with her coat with some merchandise of the Jonas Brother’s inside it.

“I know that we don’t know each other well, but if you need a talk and it’s not with your mom or your brothers, I’m here.”

Alex turned to look at her sister-in-law.  “Oh, Dani, thank you.  It’s just that I have a lot on my mind and I just want to forget everything right now and what just happened, and to go and enjoy my brothers’ concert with you.”

Danielle smiled, “Okay.  I’m glad that you’re here too.  We can become a crazy fan, and make the boys laugh at us.”

Alex laughed as the girls went back out into the hallway and saw that the boys were getting into their crate boxes.

            “Let’s go girls,” Rob said.

Demi was gone with Frankie, Denise, and Paul.

Alex watched out for Joe as he looked around to see her and smiles, “Come on.”

She smiled going over, and got in as Joe sat down beside her, and Rob closed the door, and locked the box.

Alex closed her eyes and sighed trying to calm down as she felt Joe wrap his arms around her waste.  “It’s okay.”

She turned and rested her head on his shoulder as Joe just held her.

“Let go,” they heard Rob say as the boxes started to move.

“Thank you,” Alex quietly told Joe.

“You’re welcome,” Joe said as he rested his head on top of hers.  “Nice shirt by the way.”

“Thanks it’s Dani’s.  I thought it would look better not to stand out to much.”

Alex heard the fans were getting louder as they were getting closer to the stage.

“We’re almost there,” Joe told her quietly.

She nods her head letting him know that she heard him.

Soon the box stopped as someone tapped on the box.

            “We’re here,” Joe told her.

They moved but Joe ran his hands down her arms to hold her hand to let her know that he was still there.
