So there she went, in the pitch black casket, pale white in a peach dress. There she lay, not not moving an inch, not breathing, not alive. I sunk deeper into Hunter's arms and cried, cried because I hurt, and it hit so much that if felt like it would never stop. Pain.

"Maggs", Hunter whispered. "What?" I asked. "Look there", he pointed at someone. That someone was sitting in a wheel chair, getting pushed by dad. "Brandon" I let out a breath and ran to him.

"He sis", he gave me a painful smile. I slipped Ito his open arms as he gave a a kiss on the cheek.

"Maggie!" Annabell ran towards me when we got out of the plane. "What about us?" Josh and Jillian asked, holding their arms out.

So there I stood, being squeezed by three very strong people.

Three broken pieces fixed.

"Maggie? Can you help me in my homework? I don't understand it" Cara came into my room and asked. "Of course" I turned my chair around and patted my lap.

"What do you not understand?" I asked. "Everything!" Cara exclaimed. I chuckled and started explaining.

In the middle I caught Cara not listening and staring at me. "What Cara?" I asked. "You are so strong, I wish I was like you" she smiled.

One by one I started gathering pieces of my heart with the help of the ones I love. Slowly I started feeling like my old self, the one before my life changed. But this time a little different.

A little stronger, little braver, little smarted, and with way more love.

"Did you enjoy it?" Hunter asked as we sat down in a park bench. "It was amazing, thank you. I loved it" I smiled and said.

"And I love you" he said quietly, as if not realising he was voicing his thoughts. When he realised that he said what he said he quickly turned to face me and looked into my eyes. When he saw no reaction he spoke,"I have loved you since kindergarten, I didn't realise it until third grade. You were the girl who would smile around people and when you were completely alone you would sit aside, looking for something to make you smile. You loved smiling, and loved your smile. I still love it. When you don't smile it makes my heart break.

So yes I love you, I won't deny it. If you don't feel it yet it's alright as long as you know I do" he held my hands and said.

I didn't react, just leaned forward and whispered,"I love you too Hunter". He smiled and held me close. "I love you so much Maggie Smith".
