My New Life

Chapter 7

***Maggie's POV***

"That was Hunter?", I asked in disbelief. "Yes that was Hunter, but what's so bad?", Anna asked giving me the 'look'.

"Nothing is bad!", I said in a very unconvincing way. "Maggie, you know that I'm going to force it out of you anyways, don't you?" she threatened. "I'll tell you later, not now I'm going to get late for class, see you later", I hurriedly said and took off.

The classes went by very slowly, I couldn't consternate on the teacher.

When the last bell rang I slowly packed my bag and went out. Anna and Jillian were standing outside and by the looks of it Anna had told Jillian about what happened after class.

I tried to move past them without them noticing me, but me being me, they noticed. Jillian raised her eyebrows at when they saw me, I shook my head as they walked towards me. We walked outside. Robin was waiting outside with the car, Anna texted Hunter that she was going with me and he replied with a simple "Okay".

When we got into the car Anna and Jillian made me sit in the middle. then Anna asked, "What happened?", I answered, "Tell you at home".

It took around 20 minutes to reach home. When the car stopped in front of the building Anna and Jillian's jaws fell onto the floor, I chucked and pushed them out if the car. I thanked Robin and went after them. Anna and Jillian's mouth didn't even close till we reached my room.

I closed the door and locked it behind me, I turned around their jaw was still on the floor. "Close your mouth, a fly might go in", I teased them and sat on my bed.

"So Mags, tell us why you reacted like that when I told you that the guy sitting next to you was Hunter", Anna sat down.

I explained the whole story to them, their jaws hung open they were silent for a whole 10 minutes. then Jillian finally came to her seances,"YOU KISSED HUNTER FREAKING JACKSON!" she screamed, "How was it?" she asked very excitedly.

"Wait, wait, wait", Anna began, "You kissed my brother and you didn't even tell me!", she started slapping me on my arm, "How could you not tell me?", Anna sarcastically wiped away her fake tears.

"You still didn't answer my question, how was the kiss?" Jillian shook my shoulders. "It was sweet", I answered shrugging my shoulders. both Anna and Jillian raised their eyebrows at me,"Thats all you can say!", Jillian jumped up and down on my bed

"What else can I say? That he was my first kiss?'', Anna spat out the water thats was in her mouth and it came all over my T-shirt. I gave her the death glare and went to my wardrobe to get a new T-shirt. I changed and came out. Anna stared at me.

''Maggie in school when you said that you had your first kiss did you mean it was Hunter?'' Anna asked. ''Um...yes, Anna didnt I say it happend on the day you left'', I answered.

Anna scratched her hair as I chuckled, ''I'm a blond, its alright for me to do stuff like that!'' she arguied. ''Whatever floats on your boat babe'' I fell back onto the bed.

Few minuites later I got up and said, ''What about a Star Wars movie marathorn?''

We fell asleep in the middle of the fifth movie.Then at around 1:00 I woke up. I slowly got out of bed, switched of the TV and went to the kitchen to drink water. On the platform there was a box, out of curiosity I opened it.

Inside it was my old camera that I had left in LA, there was a note taped to it...

Maggie, you left your camera back at home so I thought I'd send it to you, Cara and I miss you a lot

"I'm turning up the volume as you speak, cause if my heart can't stop it I find a way to block it, I go

La la la la la la la la la la la la!",Some thing rang.

"Will you please shut it up, I'm trying to sleep!", Jillian screamed. "Ugh", Anna wined, got up and picked up her phone, "What The Hell Do You Want Hunter?!" Anna screamed into the phone. My ears perked up, "You didn't come home yesterday, I got worried! I tried calling you but you didn't pick up!" I heard Hunter scream through the phone. "Chill Hunt, I'm at Maggie's place", Anna said. "Oh..., Um I'll see you later then, love you!" Hunter quickly said and cut the call.

"Well come on we should get ready"

It took around 15 minutes to get Jillian out of bed, I din't know how we did it, but we did. After we got ready we went in the kitchen and started to make pancakes. Just as we finished dad came in, when he saw Annabell he was very surprised, "Annabell!" dad held his hands out and hugged her. Even though it would sound weird I felt kinda jealous of Anna, dad hadn't given me a hug since forever. She had a perfect, loving family, where's I, I had a broken family. My parents were not together, my sister didn't understand what was going on and my brother, lost his legs. I felt like breaking down right there, didn't want to hold it back.

But I did, I had learnt how to control my feelings over the years, learnt to hold back my tears and move on.

"Maggie, the pancakes are burning!" Jillian screamed. I was so deep in thought that I forgot about the pancakes, I declared my self the most stupidest person in all of time.
