Chapter 2

***Maggie's POV***

"Hi Maggie, how are you?" dad said enthusiastically. "I'm good", I answered.

"How are you?"

"Good. Well, enough chit-chat let me show you your room", dad said and gestured me to follow him.

I followed him through the house till he stopped in front of a black door, he opened it for me and I walked in. The room was pitch black till dad switched on the lights, I gasped in surprise.

The walls were sea green, there was a floor to ceiling window instead of a wall looking out at New York, there was a humongous book shelf with all my favourite books, a king sized bed, a very long table that had a MacBook Pro, brushes, paints, pencils pens and all the art materials that I would ever want, and vase of white daisies (my favourite flowers).

There were four doors in my room in total, well if you count the double doors. One of them I figured leads to the bathroom but I curious about the double doors. I turned around and faced my dad. "What's there?" I asked, pointing at the doors.

"Why don't you go find out"

So I turned on my heels and walked towards the doors. I stopped in front of the doors put, my hands on them, and pushed.

It was a walk in closet. It had jeans, tops, dresses, jewellery, sun glasses, bags, you name it, it was there.

Dad was standing right behind me, I turned around and gave him a hug. He was surprised a first but then hugged me back.

I pulled back and kissed him in his cheek "You're the best, dad. Thank you"

He smiled and ruffled my hair "Freshen up and wear something nice, we're going out and having some daddy daughter time".

I giggled and walked of.

After my bath I wrapped a towel around my self and went to look for something nice to wear.

In the end I choose to go with skinny jeans, a white tank top, leather jacket, and black two inch heels.

We went to a fancy Greek. I never really liked Greek food, but this was good.

In between the food dad's phone started ringing. Apparently it was an important call so he had to take it.

Dad came back after finished my food, so much for some daddy daughter time. Dad wasn't feeling hungry anymore so we just went home.

Alter I got out of the elevator I went straight to my room but dad stopped me by holding onto my wrist. "I'm sorry Maggie".

"Well I'm not!" I screamed, pull my hand back and marched of to my room.
