***Maggie's POV***

That night I couldn't sleep, so I started playing my guitar and started playing All To Well by Taylor Swift.

It was suppose to be a love song but I kinda found my self in it.

I remember the time when Cara wasn't born yet and Brandon had gone for a sleepover at his friends house.

Dad and I had crept into the kitchen and had eaten all the cake and ice-cream. the next day Brandon had come back home and wanted a piece of cake. When mum opened the fridge she didn't find the cake but a empty plate with cake crumbs...

I found my self chuckling at that memory.

The next morning woke up and found a note on my bed side table it said:

Have a meeting, I'll come back at about 10:00.

- Love Dad

P.S I've left my credit card you can go shopping if you want to.

I checked turned the note over and there was the card.

I went into the kitchen and searched for the milk and cereal. I had cinnamon toast crunch, my favourite.

I took a nice hot bath. When I stepped out of the tub steam flowed around me. I chose to wear white jeans and my favourite T-shirt that said, team guy who almost hit Bella with a car. I dried my hair with a towel, put on big silver hoop earrings, wore gladiator sandals took my red Prada bag took the keys to elevator and went down to the lobby.

The door man opened the door for me and waved goodbye.

A taxi stopped in front of me, I asked him to take me to a bookshop since I was in no mood of buying clothes.

Few minutes later we stopped in front of a small house that almost merged into the wall. I payed the man, thanked him and walked towards the house. I paused in front of the door before knocking, but just as I was about to touch it the door it flew open.

There was an old lady standing in front of me she wore a pretty floral dress that came to her feet, long grey braid that came down to her waist and one diamond stud on each ear.

"Hello" she said, smiling "What may I do for you?" she asked.

"Oh, I'm just searching for a book to read", she smiled "Well you've found the right place for that" she said, moving to the side.

There were more books than I could ever imagine. the house may have looked small from the outside but, on the inside, it was huge.

Running my hand along the spines of the books my hand stopped on one. I pulled it out. It was The first Harry Potter book. I remember dad reading it to me when I was nine. We were so close then, we were so happy...

Flashback

The day he read it to me was few months after Cara was born. I had come home from the school trip to the zoo, I was waiting to come home and tell mum what happend in in the zoo, about all the animals I saw, and the little tiger cub that reminded me of Cara.

But when I came home I saw a note taped to the fridge, it was from mum saying that she was tired so she wanted to sleep, and to wake her up when dad came home. And to help my self to some cereal.

I was to short to reach the bowels that were on the top shelf so I pulled a chair. It was a spinning chair, I stood on top of it but I was still to short. I stood on my toes and just as my hand gripped the bowl the chair slid to the side. The next thing I knew, I was on the floor. I could here Cara crying and mums loud footsteps. I touched my forehead and felt something wet, blood was dripping down my face. Mum walked into the kitchen, saw me and started yelling, not noticing the blood on my face, not noticing the cuts on my arms or the tears streaming down my face, she kept on yelling at me for breaking the bowls that grandma had gifted to her and making a mess.

I heard the front door slamming shut and dad's voice calling. Dad walked into the kitchen, he saw what happened and rushed towards me. Mom was still yelling and could hear Cara's cry getting louder. Dad picked me up and set me down next to the sink. He pulled out the first aid kit and started cleaning up the blood on my face.

Just as dad was done cleaning up the blood, mom walked out of the kitchen.

Dad put a bandage on my forehead but my face was still wet, wet with my tears. I didn't stop crying, traits kept on pouring down my face, I didn't know why maybe it was I just the hurt I'd gone through.

Dad wiped away my tears and asked me what happened, I explained every thing to him, I poured my heart out to him.

Dad picked me up and took me to my room and laid me onto my bed and wrapped the comforter around me. He went it my bookshelf and pulled a book out. he sat next to me and started reading to me..

Mr and Mrs Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive...
