My New Life

Chapter 10

"I'm five years old. It's getting cold. I've got my big coat on. I hear your laugh. And look up smiling at you. I run and run. Past the pumpkin patch. And the tractor rides. Look now -- the sky is gold. I hug your legs and fall asleep. On the way home"

I smiled, the song explained every thing about Hunter, everything. It was finally the week end and my first week of school had gone awesomely, I hadn't talked to Hunter from the time he came home(and you know what happened!). Every time we passed each other in the hall way we would smile and continue doing what ever we were doing. In class we sat next to each other but never talked.

Dad screamed and shook me out of my daydream, "Maggie, Anna and Jillian are here!", I wonder what they were doing here.

Anna and Jillian ran into my room and jumped on my bed, "HI MAGGIE!!!!!" they screamed, I almost fell off the bed! "Hi guys, what are you doing over here?" I asked in a totally in interested way. "We were feeling bored so we thought we'd come here and do something", Jillian said bouncing on the bed.

I raised my eyebrows, "There's nothing to do over here" I said.

"Well then we'll go shopping" Anna said.

"I have so many stuff, more than I need, I don't need to go shopping" I argued.

"Well then.... we can try on all your clothes!" Jillian screamed and ran into my closet. I chuckled and shook my head, "As you say".

After we tried around a zillion clothes we stopped and picked out all our favourite clothes, they were around fifteen of them. "You guys can take anything you want" I told them.

They looked at me like I was stupid (stupid I was but...), "What's wrong with you?!" the both screamed at the same time. "Nothing!" I answered shrugging my shoulders. "Oh, god! please help this girl standing before me!" Jillian prayed and raised her hands in the air. "Oh shut up!" i slapped her on the back.

"I'm going for my cousin's wedding on Friday!" Anna complained, "I don't want to go".

"You should be happy Anna, I have to go for my great, great, great aunts birthday. I don't even know how she's alive!" Jillian said. Then I remembered, ZEDD's concert was on Friday.

"Oh shit,who am I suppose to go with now?" I complained. Anna and Jillian gave me a questioning look, "Go for what?" they asked me. "My dad got me 2 tickets to ZEDD's concert and I was going to ask one of you to come along with me, but I guess that's not going to work out now since both of you are busy", I said.

"Oh my god, you got tickets to ZEDD's concert! I'm so sorry I can't come", Anna said. "So am I", Jillian said, "But jealous to!".

"I don't know who I should go with", I said.

"You can go with Hunter!" Anna screamed.

"But isn't he going for your cousin's wedding with you?" Jillian asked. "No he isn't", Anna said, "He doesn't really get along with mum's side of the family".

I stared at both of them,"I'm not going for the concert with Hunter!" I screamed, "There is no way that its happening! You guys out of everyone in the world know what happened!"

The rolled their eyes, "Just ask Hunter", Jillian said, "And if he says no then I will beg my mom to let me go with you. Okay?" she raised her eyebrows. "Okay", nodded my head.

Jillian suddenly jumped up, "You guys just quoted Fault In Our Stars!"

Anna and I looked at each other, "Godddddd!" Can I please facepalm my self

''We are never ever getting back together!'' Jillian's phone rang.

''What the hell do you want Josh?'' she screamed into the phone. ''Just wondering if you want to come for a movie'', Josh asked. ''No we don't wan-'', Anna snatched the phone from Jillian, ''Sure we will come''

''But-'', Jillian complained, Anna gave her the look. ''Okay we'll go'' she admitted defeat.

''Now that's the sprit baby!''

When we reached the theatre, we saw Josh, some random guy I didn't know and Hunter. What the hell was Hunter doing over here?

We payed the taxi driver and got out. When Josh spotted us, he walked towards us. ''How you girls?'' he asked.

''Horrible now that I have seen you'', Jillian responded immediately. ''We're fine, thank you, Josh'', I said, ''But I must ask you this, what are Hunter and that other guy doing over here?'' I pointed behind him.

''Oh, after I called you guys I realized that I was gonna be the only guy so I decided to call Hunter, he agreed, and Jace just happened to be with him, so he came too'', Josh said. ''Okay'', I nodded my head and pulled Anna and Jillian towards Hunter and Jace, the random guy I didn't know.

''Hi Hunter and, Jace'', Anna said when we reached them, ''How you guys?''

''I'm fine'', they both responded at the same time, and I'm not so sure but I think I saw a little tinge of pink on Jace's ears. Maybe he likes Anna, I should ask her if she likes him.

''You guys ready?'' Josh asked.

''For what?'' Anna said.

''Um... the movie?'' Josh said as if it was a matter of fact. ''Ohhhh'', Anna said in realization, ''Lets go!''

After arguing a lot we finally chose The Maze Runner.

the movie was gory, gruesome, and awesome at the same time! Isn't that creepy? Like really creepy?

I screamed at least 4 times in the movie, which is a lot since I don't easily get scared watching movies. And every time I screamed or got surprised I would cling on to Hunters arm, because he just happened to be siting next to me,

It was pretty weird!

After the movie got over Anna, Jillian, Josh and Jace needed to go to the bathroom. Hunter and I waited outside, there was a weird tension in the air, and every time Hunter would open his mouth to say something, he would close his mouth rethinking what he was going to say.

Finally I picked up my guts and blurted out, ''I wanted to ask you if you could come with me to ZEDD's concert next Friday cause nether Anna or Jillian can come''. He raised his eyebrows and looked at me, ''You want me to come?'' he asked pointin at himself. I nodded my head vigorously, ''Yes, so can you come?''

''Sure''
