Half an hour later I found myself in Ginny's room and pouring vodka into my drink. I felt a little uneasy drinking on school grounds, but it was ten o'clock at night, everybody would be in bed by now so hopefully nobody would notice.
"Come on Hermione. Pour some more in." Ginny told me as she watched me put some vodka into my cola drink.
"I don't want to drink too much Ginny. I will only have a small bit."
Ginny sighed taking the vodka bottle out of my hand "Don't be boring. The last time you had a drink was during the summer."
Ginny poured some vodka into my drink anyway, ignoring my protests. I shrugged and took a long gulp. My drink tasted so strong and over whelming, my throat literally burned as the liquid went down my throat.
"Jesus Christ Ginny how much did you put in this?" I cried examining my drink
Ginny smiled as she poured herself a drink "Relax Hermione."
She then walked over to her bed and pulled out a bottle of wine from under her pillow. Much to my shock she handed it to me "Want some of this instead?"
"Since when did you keep this stuff in your room?" I asked
She shrugged "I just decided to bring some this year for girly nights like this."
I nodded as I grabbed a glass and poured myself some wine. I think I'd stick to that for the night; the other drink was too strong for me.
After a few sips of my drink I threw myself onto Ginny's bed. I could feel a head ache coming already. Holy heck! I decided to ignore it, I then took another long gulp of my drink until the glass was empty. I noticed Ginny was already on her second drink. The glass did not leave her lips.
"Take it easy Ginny," I said breathlessly. I then stood up, nearly stumbling over. I had forgotton how alcohol can effect people. The last time I consumed alcohol was during the summer at a party I attended with my friends. When Ron and I were together at the time, he had convinced me to drink. I said no at first, but he reassured me it will be fine. However that same night I ended up having one too many and I spent the night getting sick it the bathroom. I wrinkled my nose in disgust at the memory.
"I know what we can do." Ginny slurred suddenly "Let's play a truth game/"
I narrowed my eyebrows "What is the point? We already know everything about each other?"
"Uh... oh yeah we do don't we Mione," Ginny said aloud. She then threw her arms around me "Your my best friend you know that."
I laughed "Your drunk already."
"I most certainly am not I am-" her words trailed. "Oh I know. Let's talk about boys. We never do that at all."
The way Ginny said "Lets talk about boys" sounded really childish. It was like an eight year old wanting to reveal who she had a crush on in school. I shrugged "What about them?"
I poured myself another drink and took a long gulp as she spoke "I don't know... lets just talk about them. Boys are very strange creatures aren't they?"
I nodded slowly, thinking that it was strange. Ginny looked tipsy and tired and her cheeks burned a deep red.
"Uh... okay...well you start then." I said unsure of how to start the conversation. I had finished my second glass of wine and I felt myself getting more and drunk by the minute. My head hurt and I felt like getting sick.
"Is there any handsome boy you have your eye on? "she said as she sipped her drink
I thought for a moment, yes there were loads of good looking boys in this school but I did not have my eye on any of them. It's too soon after Ron. "No." I said eventually
