Chapter 2 - Dinner

Charlie woke up to the, all too familiar sound of her screeching alarm clock. She slowly opened her eyes and was met with the worst headache she had ever experienced. She forced her legs out of the warm comfy bed and felt suddenly dizzy.”why did I drink so much” she thought to her self. She was snapped from her thoughts by the sound of her phone telling her she had a text. She reached over the her small bedside table to pick up her galaxy 4S and checked the text she had just received.

/How are you, I hope you are ok. Don't worry about yesterday it doesn't matter. How would you like to come over to mine and Phil's for dinner at 1pm , Phil had already invited your sister? Dan x/

As soon as Charlie had seen who it was from she wondered why Dan would even want to socialize with her, she vomited on him. Charlie didn't know if she wanted to go or not she didn't want to feel awkward and she knew that she would but on the other hand a part of her wanted to see Dan again she didn't know why she had only just met him but there was just a part of her that wanted to get to know him better.

/Yea i'm OK just a killer hangover and I'm sorry about yesterday. I don't know if I should go. Charlotte x/

She quickly replied she wanted him to leave it at that but she also wanted him to try and convince her.

/Please, I don't think I can cope with Melody and Phil flirting with each other. Dan x/

/OK I will be there and save you from my sister :D, see you at 1pm. Charlotte x/

Charlie stood up from where she was sitting and felt a little giddy inside making the headache feel a little better. As she staggered downstairs she spotted her sister sat on the couch watching old re runs of Doctor Who.

“Morning” Melody greeted as she sat down next to her.

“Hi, make me a cup of tea” Charlie demanded.

“wow, didn't take you long to get back to your old self did it” Melody moaned as she stood up and walked into the kitchen.

“milk two suga-” Charlie was about to call through as she was interrupted by her sister.

“i know what to do”.

Melody walked into the living room holding two cups of tea. She handed Charlie's hers as she sat down next to her once again.

“so are you going then” she asked while staring at the TV.

“What are you talking about”? Charlie asked not understanding what she was hinting at.

“To Dan and Phil's for dinner, Phil told me Dan was going to ask you”?

“oh.. yes I'm going” Charlie replied. Suddenly there was a squeal from next to her. Melody had jumped up and started to pull Charlie up the stairs.

“what are you doing”? Charlie asked her voice worried about what her sister had in mind.

“you need to have something nice to wear, so I'm going to pick your outfit” she pointed out bluntly.

“It's only 11 am”! Charlie exclaimed.

“Exactly only two hours to get you ready”!

~~~~~~~~~~ Arriving and Dan and Phil's~~~~~~~~~~~

Charlie and Melody were standing outside Dan and Phil's apartment waiting for one of the boys to answer the door and let them in. Charlie was wearing a loose black dress with a light pink belt around her waist and Melody was wearing a tight, brown top with a white denim jacket and tight, light blue jeans. Phil opened the door because Dan was in the middle of cooking.

“something smells nice” Charlie complimented.

“yea, Dan is making curry” Phil explained. Phil took the two girls through to the dining room where they would all be eating. Phil and Melody sat next to each other and sure enough Melody started to flirt and Phil 'tried' to flirt. Charlie announced to the two that she would go through to the kitchen to see how Dan was doing.

When she got there Dan had set out 4 dished and was purring some curry sauce onto the well cooked rice that he had prepared.

“looks good” Charlie examined making Dan jump a little bit and splash some curry onto the side.

“sorry” Charlie apologised as she reached for a cloth and wiped away the spilt food.

“thanks” Dan relied. Charlie and Dan took two plates each into the dining room and set them in front of Phil,Melody and two empty seats that would later be filled by Dan and herself.

so the second chapter :D please tell me what you think and i know its boring at the moment but i PROMISE!! it is going to get better <3 (a lot more drama)
