After Dan got home yesterday he went straight to his room after saying hello to Phil and went to sleep. Phil could tell that there was something bothering him they had been friends for 4 years he could read Dan like a book. He decided that he would ask him in the morning after he had, had a good night sleep.
It was 1 pm and Dan still wasn't up. This was normal for Dan but since he became friends with Charlie he started to wake up a bit earlier. Phil wondered why he wasn't up yet so he decided to go and wake him up. He gently knocked on Dans bedroom door in the hope that Dan would respond and show Phil that he was up but sat in bed. There was no response to Phil had to go into his room to wake him up.
“DAN GET UP IT 1 PM” he shouted. Slowly Dan opened his eyes to the afternoon sun.
“What do you want Phil” said Dan groggily.
“it's about time you got up” replied Phil
“ok but make me a cup of tea”
“ok Dan”
As Phil stirred one of the two cups of tea he heard Dan finally emerge from his room. Phil walked through to the living room and handed , a now fully awake Dan, his cup of tea and sat down next to him on the sofa. Phil waited until he had took a sip of his tea until he started to ask questions.
“What happened with you and Charlie yesterday” he asked
“WHAT! Nothing” Dan replied to quick for Phil to believe him.
“i know when you are lying Dan”
“ok” Dan gave in “i asked her out and she turned me down” he said bluntly. Phil burst out laughing while Dan was glaring at him.
“It's not funny” Dan shouted
“sorry” Phil apologised in-between laughs “i just find it hard to believe that you are giving up after she has rejected you once. She has just had a hard break up you need to give her some time”
“i don't even think she likes me in that way” Dan admitted.
“just give her some time and take it slowly” Phil advised.
Okay i know this is a really short chapter and i'm sorry :( i think the next chapter is short to so i will upload it tomorrow so that there isn't a day to wait.
Also this chapter is dedicated to Nerhxoxo because if she hadn't have asked this woudn't have been up until tommorrow.
