Chapter 3 - YouTuber?

~~~~ 3 weeks later~~~~~~

Charlie walked down the stairs from her warm refreshing morning shower and saw Phil sat on the couch next to her sister “thank god I chose to get dressed and not come down in a towel”she thought to herself.

“Hi Phil what are you doing here”? Charlie asked in curiosity.

“Melody invited me to come around and talk” He explained. Dan, Charlie, Melody and Phil had all became great friends in the 3 weeks that they had known each other.

“OK... where is Dan” she asked out of pure curiosity or at least she hoped it was curiosity.

“He is at home making a video” Phil explained yet again. Charlie had no idea what he was talking about. Making a video what was the supposed to mean. She looked over at Melody who didn't seem phased at all by what Phil had said. A look of realisation crossed his face as he realised he hadn't explained any of this to Charlie.

“Dan and I are YouTubers, we make and upload videos to YouTube” Phil explained, he had been doing that a lot over the past couple of minutes. Charlie understood now and she had an idea to go and see Dan because she didn't want to be at home all day with Phil and Melody. As much as she loved them both she couldn't cope with them flirting all the time.

“Do you think Dan would mind if I went to see him” Charlie asked innocently.

“No go ahead” Phil assured her “I think he would be happy to see you” Melody had a smile on her face that Charlie didn't recognize she could always tell when her sister was up to something and what she was thinking about but this time it was different, Charlie had no idea.

“OK then see you later Phil, Melody” she said before grabbing the door handle.

“WAIT”! Phil shouted. “you are going to need the keys to the apartment, Dan wont be able to hear you knock while he is in his room filming” Phil explained.

“OK” Charlie replied as she took the keys out of Phil's hand a set on her way to the apartment.

When Charlie got to the door of the apartment she quietly put the keys in the lock and slowly turned them in an attempt to make no noise , she wanted to scare Dan. Once the door was open she slowly closed it and walked up to Dan's bedroom door. As she approached the door she lightly tapped on it to get Dan's attention but she still stood outside the door attempting to scare him.

“PHIL” Dan shouted through his bedroom. There was no answer so Dan decided to go back to filming the video. Charlie was finding it very hard not to laugh and give herself away. She was ready to give Dan the fright of his life so she stood out side Dan's door and knocked a little louder, so he was sure to hear. While Charlie was thinking of a way to scare Dan she found a Edward Cullen mask and decided to put it on so that Dan would be faced with it when he came out of the room. He slowly opened his room door and screamed like a girl when he saw the mask. Charlie couldn't hold it in any more she burst out laughing. She took the mask off and said sorry to Dan and explained why she was here. She found it hard to get her words out as she was still laughing at Dan's reaction.

“You didn't tell me you make YouTube videos” Charlie pointed out.

“i know, sorry I didn't realise I hadn't told you”

“It's OK” she reassured him “as long as I can stay here with you while Phil and Mel are at mine” She teased.

“sure” Dan agreed “i need someone to help me out with the video anyway”

“OK” Charlie said full of joy, her reaction shocked Dan a bit as he expected her to not want to make a video with him.

Dan was going to do a truth or dare video and had already asked his followers on twitter to give him some dares and questions for the video and as usual they have delivered. It was Charlie's job to pick the dares and Dan had no choice but to do the dares and truths she picked out for him.

Dan turned on the camera as usual and Charlie and himself where sat in his bed with the laptop full of quests.

Hey internet this is my friend Charlie. She is going to help me with the video...

the video progressed and by the end Dan was shattered. He had put ice cubes down his pants and tell everyone his celebrity crush and so on. Charlie hadn't had this much fun since she was with Logan. She started to think about Logan and got progressively sad. Dan noticed this and asked what was wrong. She realised that she had never told Dan or Phil about Logan and the only people that knew where Mel, Logan, the slut and herself. She decided that maybe she would feel a bit better if she got it all of her chest.

Her and Dan sat down in the living room with a cup of tea and she explained the whole story.

“If someone can't see how great you are and they have to cheat on you then they aren't worthy of your love” Dan comforted Charlie. For some reason this made Charlie feel giddy inside. Was she starting to like Dan?
