We all know those romance novels, that have you on a roller coaster of emotions. One minute you're sad because he can't see that the girl he grew up with is the one. Then you're happy because she finally tells him how she truly feels. And in the end they end up into each others arms.
Honestly, I was..... or I still am a fan girl of romance books. But for a while I gave them all a break, set them aside so I could focus on little Happy Ever After. It was just like one of my books. From the perfect guy, who was athletic, artistic and handsome. To being funny, loving and understanding. That was the type of guy that I loved. They one that always seemed to run across my mind when I was having a bad day. The same type of guy that always seemed to turn up in the books I read.
That's the reason why our relationship was coveted by many, but yet still admired by all. As you look at it you think these things last forever, just like in the books. You love each other; grow old with each other and in the end die with each other. But some people are not so fortunate. Their futures together gets cut short and leaves someone behind in the most devastating and disheartening part of life, which is the rest of it without the other.
You might be wondering why I know so much and why my perspective on love is so depressing and invariant. Hmmm... that's simply because I have lived this sad story. And I am still trying to cope. Every single part of this story I have lived. I am Jade, Jade Woods and this is my romantic love story that never got an "And they all LIVED." ending.
