"Hey Jade?"

"Yeah." Jordan and I are sitting inside of Seafront Sushi eating our favorite things. We usually don't do this that often but he was determined to make me happy after how crappy I felt leaving the park. We're sharing some Hunter's Roll with a side of sea bean salad. I'm drinking a Mint Mojito, but he just has a glass of Sprite.

"I was wondering,.." He pauses.

"About what" I persist. He hesitates then starts talking again.

"I was wondering.... if you would be  okay with me moving to Minnesota with you?"

After he says it he gives me a wink and continues eating as if nothing just happened.

"What?" I place my drink down so I could put my shaking hands in my lap. I stare at Jordan to see if his eyes are darting from side to side. His give away of when he's trying to be funny.

This would be a cruel joke. And his eyes aren't moving.

He's serious.

He can't be. Can He?

"Well.....you know. We've been together for two years now, we've had our ups and downs, but we still make it through t all."

At this point I don't know what to say or do.  But I must manage so I don't make myself loo like a fool in front of all of these people.

"Jordan? What are you trying to say?" My mind rushes to all of the possible explanations.

As my mind searches for the best answer, Jordan gets up out of his seat and walks over to my side of the table. By this time I could feel my heart beating in my feet. He kneels down on one knee and holds my hands as if the slightest touch could break me.

And that's exactly how I feel right now. As though if his thumb rubs the back of my hand one more time I will shatter to a billion pieces.

"Jade Alexandria Woods, I have told you on many occasions the effect that you have on me. Not just physically, but emotionally as well. I also told you that I want to be with you forever and a day."

By this time, everyone in the restaurant is steering at us with smiles on their faces. We don't care this is our moment. Jordan continues,

"That is why Jade I'm asking you, if you will make me a twenty-one year old guy named Jordan Daniel Hills that lives in Boston the happiest guy in the entire Milky Way Galaxy and Marry Me!!"

He pulls out a small black leather box and opens it to reveal a 14k yellow gold vintage ring with a unusual unique flower that encapsulates a diamond on the top.

At this point I am at a lost for words. Jordan just proposed to me.

Should I say yes?

I mean my parents really like him. And other than that I am in love with him. This is what I wanted all along.

Do I say no and wait until after I come back from college?

But he said he would move over there with me. That could help us and there was a school in Minnesota that tried to recruit him. Maybe they would still accept him.

I don't know what to say with my mouth, but my heart knows exactly what to do.
