Rachel's POV:
I thought Monday was going to be great, but it actually sucked, I don't know why things are different between Finn and me. I hate this! We barely talked today. Usually we never stop talking, but how did it change when we started dating, shouldn't it make us closer?
Finn's POV:
It's been really awkward between Rachel and me today. I'm not sure why, but I think we need to talk about it.
At the moment I am driving Rachel home, so I think now would be a great time.
"Hey, Rach, I think we need to talk," I say this trying to make it sound calm but not harsh. "Ever since we started dating, we haven't been the same, and it's really confusing me. I mean, why can't we talk now? Aren't we the same people?" I can see a smile come across her face. Why is she smiling at a time like this?
"I've noticed that too, but I guess it's just new to us. We just have to remember that we are the same people we were last week, I mean not dating others but best friends, just with a little more sparkle," she laughed at her wording, "My point is that we just need to stay best friends but know we are more, do you understand?"
I look at her and remember that she is just my best friend, just a different type of best friend, before I knew it I gently placed my lips on hers. "I'll take that as a yes?" she and I both giggled into the kiss.
I dropped her off and went back to my place. Before I went to bed, I sent her a text message to help remind her about something. It read: Better luck tomorrow, Berry <3
I think I'm really falling for my best friend.
