When I'm feeling sad
I simply ... cook .... my favourite things
And then I don't feel so bad
I have this little book I take with me when I go places, in it I have written some of my favourite recipes. The thing is though, its getting a bit old and the pages are falling out and so I thought that if I wrote them up and posted them, well I can't lose them and will always have them with me.
These are my tested and true recipes - a bit of comfort food.
Most of the recipes come from the family circle or womens weekly cookbooks. Some I have been given and don't know where they come from. Others come from TV shows. I'll try and mention where they come from.
Some recipes I've slightly changed from the original - my lemon cheesecake recipe is an example of that. But everyone loves it and its so smooth and creamy and not too sweet.
Anyway, I hope you try some.
