"You are impossible." Stacey said with a huff to which Darius smiled innocently at her.

Bowing down, Darius said, "Why, thank you."

Stacey rolled her eyes whilst Nathan and Stella laughed at the bickering going on between Stacey and Darius. For the past two hours, Stacey had been trying to finish her work but Darius would not let her do so. He either poked her cheeks or kept on annoying her by asking the same question.

"Can I please get my laptop now?" Darius asked again with a teasing smile.

Stacey groaned and continued with her work, ignoring him. Darius waited for a minute for her answer. On not getting any reply, he shrugged his shoulders and poked her left cheek again. Stacey shut her eyes firmly, trying to ignore Darius' annoying poke but she failed as Darius leaned closer to her cheek and this time instead of the pad of his index finger. his warm soft lips brushed her skin. The widening of Stacey's eyes and her sharp intake of breath did not go unnoticed by Darius. He knew he left her speechless from his sudden gesture. Although it was mere dusting of his lips against her cheek still it felt like a great step to Darius as when Stacey tilted her head to look at him, her face instead of turning into a scowl curled upwards into a small smile which he returned with a boyish grin. Stacey just nodded her head and went back to work.

The events of the other day somehow took away the harshness between the. It was there but not too much and Stacey did not give Darius cold shoulder anymore. She did not talk to him a lot but still there was some progress and it bloomed some hope in Darius. Even Nathan and Stella felt change between them and they were ecstatic more than Darius himself.

Now Darius repeated his question without poking her cheeks. This time he received a shake of head from Stacey.

"Aww, come on, I am getting bored now." Darius huffed and crossed his arms over his chest with an adorable pout.

Stacey tied to hide her smile at his cute face but failed miserably. Shutting down her laptop, she kept it aside. Looking at Darius, she said, "You will not get your laptop. But if you are getting bored we can do something."

Darius smirked and whispered huskily into Stacey's ear, "We should get to a room for a make out session, don't you think so?"

Stacey whipped her head and looked at Stella and Nathan who were now busy, watching some movie. She looked back at Darius blankly.

Smacking his shoulder lightly, she said, "Get your mind out of the gutter. What I meant to say was that we can go out for a walk or something."

Darius' eyes sparkled as he said, "Can I call this night walk a little date?"

Stacey stood up abruptly and hissed, "I am done. It is not that if I am trying to be civil to you then you should take advantage of that. You can go to that walk all by yourself."

Picking up her laptop, Stacey muttered something under her breath along the lines of 'lost his mind' to which Darius refrained himself from chuckling as he knew he was walking on a thin line already and any wrong step would not be of any help right now. When he referred Stacey's offer of taking a walk as a date, he was just trying his luck although he knew it was too soon for Stacey to say yes to him. When he looked up, he saw Stacey upstairs so he followed her. He knocked at the door. When Stacey opened the door she rolled her eyes at Darius and was about shut the wooden door but he kept his hand on the door frame.

Stacey snapped, "What?"

"About that walk, is the offer still on the table?" Darius asked softly.
